  • fuck venom axial for life!!!

  • which is a better truck

  • @whearywulf I own both and have done every thing I could to my venom, my ax10 will still out crawl it any day. Don't get me wrong, the venom is a very capable crawler... but the axial is more capable

  • I mean, like straight out of the box speed, no mods

  • What is the AX10's top speed with the diff unlocked and the stoch high gears?

  • The venom is by far a very capable crawling machine, it just needs someone that knows how to crawl driving it. Anyone who says they dont like it just isnt up to par on driving or has a bias against the underdog bc they have less hype compared to the ax10. buying the venom was the best choice i made.

  • whats the difference between a 45 turn motor and 35 and 55?

  • @diabetishead In general, higher turn motors develop more torque while lower turn motors develop more RPMs. So it's a trade off for power vs speed. Additionally, lower turn motors consume more battery power to operate, so by using a higher turn motor you will get a longer run time :-)

  • looks like your tires are backwords man.

  • Just did another cheap (as in free mod) a bta setup. And reversed the rear c hubs still working on the suspension setup. Will be posting a vid soon

  • I got both, creeper and scorpion. both are modified. creeper: XR10 shocks, custom machined shockmounts, Boss Clawz, robitronic 55t. scorpion: Reign J2 chassis, pti shocks, strc bended rods, cvds, traxxas trans, nov45t, 8 shooters and hammers. The creeper has no chance against the scorpion. It twists like a ballerina and has no punch out of the trans. Drive precision is better, of course, but the axial works absolutely like want i want it to! Creeper: zero points.

  • @ifUwalkbeforeUcrawl Interesting. Thank you for the detailed comment!

  • my friend and i both live near this area and are looking for more people to drive with check my channel. if anyone knows of any good spots near fresno clovis area the info would be greatly appreciated

  • those arent stock

  • are either waterproof?

  • @LJNERF The main waterproofing of an RC car involves sealing the speed controller and receiver from water. The rest is ok to use in water but I HIGHLY recommend AGAINST this unless you want to constantly be rebuilding your axles, transmission, and replacing servos. Water + gears and bearings is always a bad idea. This is just my personal preference and many people do play in the water, but I choose to not do this with my expensive toys. Thanks!

  • how much suspension travel does the ax10 have?

i was thinking of buying the hpi crawler king but then people praised the ax10 allot so is the ax10 better than crawler king?

which crawler do you think is the best?

  • @dhruvvikram i wanted to get the crawler king to but i realized the axial ax10 is way better

  • it seems the white one has stiffer springs, thus less articulation, my opinion, dont know much.

  • my venom settles way better y

  • what scale is the creeper

  • this really doesnt show how good the crawler are it shows who is a better driver

  • +1 on Axial's Part! Venom=Fail

  • Venom would do better if u lowered th weight and put eitheir softer springs or lighter oil

  • Its not the car its the driver

  • the creeper just didnt get the right angles on to that rock, plus i think his shocks are to stiff

  • The venom is a better crawler by design. That doesnt mean you can't still ruin it with a terrible suspension setup and tire.

  • The venom has a 70 degree articulation but for some reason in this video it looks like a 10 degree, what's up with that?

  • in the axial withe the moped esc. i thought they were limited to 10-35turn motors??

cause it says yours has a 45 turn??

  • Comment removed

  • axial wins agian HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice crawlers, i think the main problem with the venom is the driver lol

  • remember to take the foam out ofcourse.......

  • dudes fill your tires full of water... take the front bead lock off pull the tire from the rim abit and fill them bitchs, trust me u'll thank me after the first run.

  • Venom crawler got the talent but the quality of the material very poor and the up grade parts are very hard to get. So i say NO to venom crawler.. sucks...

  • I say kapcai69 sucks creeper is awsome, this creeper is not properly set up mate wheel weights and suspension too hard

  • blue is better!!!!!

  • would you recommend saddle batteries i gotta get new ones but i wanna get saddles cause a mod im about to do requires them (tcs tube body) cant wait!

  • the venom needs ckrcs satge 2 kit to lower the center of gravity so it doesnt tip over all the time

  • its the shocks

  • are theree any specia esc and speed controls for crawlers ?

  • HOW MUCH RUN TIME DO THEY HAVE?

  • We both run 1500 mAh 7- and 8-cell 3/4A batteries from The Crawler Store. Playing like this we get about 35 mins on the 7-cell pack and about 45-mins on the 8-cell pack. Keep in mind that we are geared a bit low. If we run taller gearing then it will draw more amps. Thanks for the comment!

  • What R those red curb feelers on the white car?

  • ZipTies for the body ;)

  • Obviously the Creeper driver wasn't nearly as skilled as the Scorpion driver. I own both, and I find they are equally as capable

  • Is that in stock form or modified? Do you have t-lok diffs? Dig? I'm considering the creeper and just running my own gear anyways. However this will be my 1st crawler rig and entry into crawling. Is the Creeper a good choice?

  • My Creeper has the remote locking kit, but is otherwise stock. My Axial Scorpion has the TCS Edge tube chassis, RC4WD Rockwells front and rear, the 3Racing remote disconnect (dig), and VP revolver weighted wheels. I can go everywhere with my Creeper that my Scorpion goes, it's just driver skill. I do recommend the Creeper because of that, and you can find it for like $135 from A Main Hobbies, or possibly less on ebay

  • Go Axial!!!!

  • Is it the car or the driver who makes it over the rock?

  • Thanks for all the comments guys! My buddy has done a TON of modifications to his Venom and we hope to return to this rock for a rematch, hopefully sometime this fall :-)

  • Venom guy needed some practice :D Good video though.

  • The Venom needs the wheel hubs on the body trimmed back a little more. Its getting in the way of the articulation.

  • im pretty sure that i said that tire weights help a lot you fucking retard (trooper maniac) your a fucking dumb ass that cant read

  • I cant really see what you done with the venoms shocks but either you have it shimmed too much or your choice in shock oil is too heavy. If thats not the problem then I would recommend getting softer shocks. The suspension is supposed to twist when one wheel is up on the rocks, instead the whole truck wants to go up and that makes the performance suffer allot.

  • Nice vid, thanks. :)

  • the creeper looks like it doesn't have any tire weights which help a ton on the rocks

  • do you have any idea what you are talking about. Tire weights are the best thing for rock crawling. matter of a fact they make after market rims that have ball bearings in them for added weight.

  • I was going to buy an Axial AX10 today but they told me they were getting venoms in the store in 2 weeks so now i'm waiting. XD

  • Awesome! You will be very happy regardless which one you get! They are a LOT of FUN!! The only thing I envy from the Venom is the axles. Wait the two weeks, get it built, and start having fun!!!!

  • I think i pick the venom cause it looks like it has more flex stock and i like the body better. =D Any suggestions which i should pick?

    Greetz.

  • So whats done to the Axial suspension i thought the Axial suspension was good stock.

  • Stock the Axial has much to be desired. The ride height has been lowered, the upper link mounts at each axle have been raised, the transmission has been flipped to reduce torque twist, and the lower links have been brought inboard at the chassis and outboard at the axle for greater stability. The stock SUPER HARD springs have been replaced with much, much softer springs, and 13 ounces of weights have been added for increased traction. Play with your suspension, you'll find it can be much better!

  • Thanks for the comment! Are you referring to body roll? Perhaps you meant to say articulation? This Venom has mostly stock suspension components whereas I've done a lot of improvement to my Axial suspension, and it shows.

  • looks like the ax 10 has alot more body twist nice vid though
