I was surprised that the remake turned out decently but one of my complaints was...Nancy was just sort of boring. Very unlike the original where Nancy developed and became really strong. In this she was just some quiet emo chick...and all the other character outshone her. Imo.

@tallyman48 Millennium Trilogy with Danial Craig. And I would suggest reading the series. It tends to scare ignorami into being good, with the fear of Lisbeth showing at their doors with a golf club. She scared Chuck Norris into submission.

@23nightmare23 I was curious about that too. I watched the Nightmare on Elm street behind the scenes documentary, Never Sleep Again. None seemed ok with even a remake being made, except Robert Englund seemed to understand. Heather just said if she could talk to the whoever played Nancy to just keep her strong and a fighter and imo RM did that.
