No it is not ruled by self elected corrupt politicians as far as anyone knows, it is ruled by democraticly elected politicians who might or might not be corrupt. But we are not totally reliant upon agriculture as you say but it is a big part of our economy. Also it is ridiculous to compare us to african banana republics as we are much more advanced and have one of the best health and retirement system in the worlds even though our economy is not good. @Bolero08 Haha Iceland is still a very highly rated country, and why should a woman get the pensions from her husband??? that makes no sense but most icelandic women work and they get pension for that and if not they will get pension from the government. Doesnt matter if they were married or not they still get money from the government, and yes theyre are good doctors in iceland and why are we talking about doctors? hospitals are very cheap in iceland compared to most other countries
