  • 3:14 favorite part :)

  • This controller can be used with Traktor software. Thats what I use. I like it a lot better then Virtual DJ.

  • Im really not sure which to get. Tracktor is having a big sale on the s2. GUYS!!!...which one?? Tracktor or Numark?

    Please reply!

    Thanks again

  • @loczster traktor

  • Can this controller be used with Traktor software?

    Thanks

  • thanks for taking the time dude.

  • Helpful hint, if you bring down the volume (A little bit) on the track you want to hear the vocals on while increasing the mid. you can really get a nice sound without all the other junk in the track playing :] Fiddle with it and you will see!

  • your tutorials are brilliant, it just made me sell my Hercules e2 and buy this one

  • Wow great beats!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i keep coming back for the music lol

  • wow this is first dj mix i've seen that's explained the dj's every little move - using the annotations. thanks mate it's very helpful indeed.. great video and an awesome mix!!!

  • OK HOW YOU MAP THE CUES WITH IDJ3?

  • Hey can you send me message on where to buy this exact Dj thingy and how much would it be? like paste the url to the website where you bought it thx your pro P: msg me

  • Thats a good mix I enjoyed it dont think ill be able to do that tho :(

  • @Devilzwishbone2009 i almost made it :D

  • Im going to like this video simply because...

I usually mix house and wanted tips to mix dubstep as the rules of blending house dont apply really to dubstep

when I saw this video I was like your using the same mixer as meee

    LIKE!!

  • this is cool and you're very good, but this isnt a mix, this is a mashup. you should put out a tutorial for basic mixing.

  • whats the very beggining song. not "i need air" the song at 0:00???

  • So I figured it out. And I'm frustrated. TRAKTOR has EQ KILLS - VDJ HAS HOT CUES

  • great work.!!!

  • meu deus que massa!!

  • wow! great man! you got a new fan! :D

  • What effects in which program did u use ?

  • @xCyberDrop virtual dj.

  • this toy looks ugly as fuck

  • @666BozoTheClown666 i actually use this same mixdeck because i just started DJing. its actually a nice tool for beginners and its not too pricey. sure its not professional but hey it gets the job done :)

  • HOT CUE HOT CUE HOT CUE MADAFAKA HOT CUE

  • and this is for beginners?!?! lol looks insane!

  • @osufanaws11 this is basic :P

  • u sir, are a fucking genius

  • uhhhhhh......maybe wait for the drop homie.....that sounded like caca

  • this ain't dubstep.

  • @MrPlasticSmile Uh, yes, it is, idiot.

  • @MrPlasticSmile then what is?

  • This looks like a great controller for the money. I'd say if you're into DJing, learn the basics on this thing and move up to cdjs and then please learn beat matching and more complex eq mixing.

  • DJ must get the most sex in the world lol :P jk jk....but its difficult if ur just starting no joke

  • "sync" haha

  • This is so fucking sickkkkkkkk I wanna download link. >.<

  • dude, lay off the damn cue button a bit. it doesnt take alot of talent to preset everything and mash buttons. how old are you 15?

  • @dnbking Yeah I'm not enjoying everything being preset

  • What effect is that you keep using?

  • out of key

  • Hey there! A while back I contacted you under my other Youtube account about whether the Mixtrack Pro was any good. And I thought about what you said and got one. Now a few months later I'm the resident DJ for a society in my University. And I just want to thank you because it was this video that got me into DJing. So thank you, and keep up the awesomeness!

  • This is very very cool

  • Wow thanks! I usually just produce but now I'm gonna start mixing and this video really helped out , Thanks!

  • Very helpfull for newbies to mixing! Thanx a bunch!

  • How do you set cue's perfectly???

  • @PeterKeuneVideos When you're cuing the track, you can see where you are in the track on the computer screen using the waveform... listen in your headphones and use the waveform and you can set the cue perfectly.

  • thanks bro i was looking for a kindov beginer turn table or mixer so i could start making dubstep

  • @bbsskater69 this doesn't help you make dubstep it helps you mix it..

  • that looks like so much fun i want one :(

  • @Danemasterpiece under the tracklist bar, right click and a menu will open. Click "Key" and there you have it :) However, you may need to re-enter those keys. I can't seem to find a way for it to discover the key by itself.

  • @glowjr2212 Ah, thanks :)

  • Could you maybe make a tutorial on how to upload the music to the cues?

  • Amazing mixing bro, thanks for helping me decide whether or not to buy the mixdeck.

Have amazon open in another tab as I'm typing this :D

  • Oh and how long should we let Vampire Dub play after we cut out Eastern Jam?

  • How long is the Eastern Jam you bought?

  • Nice tutorial. What software are you using ? VDJ ?

  • hahaha teach me ^^ :D CAN YOU?

  • @703Fail its not a sample. its Chase and Status's "Eastern Jam"

  • @PureS0urce its not the loop buttons. when the chorus on "i need air" starts you hit the hot cue for the beginning of "woo boost". do u need a video tutorial?

  • How do you cut out exact points for the hot cues, im on vdj and I cant get it exact, its always got a little delay.

  • @DrummerBlast3 use the jog wheel to assign the exact spot you want it..just have to time it right when you use it

  • nice work with the cue points.

  • im want to start doing dk mixing is this good for a beginner if not please sujest

  • @BmxVideosco I myself have one. And yes its very user friendly, excellent for beginner DJ's

  • who watched this but then came back for the music

  • whats the effect you used at 2:25 to make it stutter like that?

  • @AnguishingProduction beat grid

  • okay so on woo boost your not looping are you? i used to use image lines deckadence back when i had numark omni control and you could chop up the drums in many different ways im guessing thats what your doing? it sucks cause i cant do that on ns7 closest things i have are the nsfx echo, delay, reverb, and repeat to kinda imitate what your doin with the beat grid thing?? sucks how much shit you miss out when using serato itch

  • Comment removed

  • I Love You.... For Woo Boost! :D

  • I came when Vampire Dub started playing.

  • Dubstep sounds like DnB without the D. Not a fan of.

  • can u do 1 on virtual dj

    on laptop or computer plz?

  • Could you connect turntables to the mixtrack pro?? someone help

  • @mnmthomas94 Yes you can but not directly into the mixtrack,u would hve to buy a mixer board

  • my freind has one and he lets me mix on it there really nice not the best turntables you can have but there nice

  • @caution crisis shouldn't you have your volume levels lower it would to see you blow out your speakers and damage them

  • I am Proud to say i bought the mixdeck two months ago

  • me want some turn tables like tht is it auto count in?

  • Faved.

    This was great.

  • i got the regular not the pro for 150$ cheaper.

  • You are the reason i bought the Numark Mixtrack-Pro!!

  • i am high

  • @monstermchet i agree with what you're saying, but this is still a great system for people who are just starting out. i got a mixdeck (instead of this) when i first started and it's def a good starter kit for this stuff. but yeah putting the choruses together makes no sense whatsoever. too much damn noise.

  • thumbs up if you listen to this and play happy wheels!

  • HUGE drop at 3:15 omg!

  • @MrPhilupontacos jizzemed .... :)

  • @MrPhilupontacos ...hope your joking lmfao

  • Wow that was amazing <3

  • anyway, "DJing" lost its real definition, everyone can DJ, but clubs prefer a dj with crappy skills who makes the crowd dance than a heavily skilled godness who plays boring music.

  • i meant drop :)

  • this sure is fun, but it's not mixing. i bet this guy doesn't even know what the pitch control is for.. all pre cued, already sync'd tracks. and the mixing isn't even good, chorus together? too much noise and you lose the intensity of the frop. if you want to get good at djing, use cd players, or better yet vinyl turntables. digital "mixing" requires no skill at all. mixing is all about beatmatching and tempo counting, no way can you learn that using this kind of material.

  • One question, it has usb 1.0 in the back i saw on a site ! is it possible to connect this on a pc with usb 2.0 ?

  • great tuto about "how not to be a dj"

  • I love the songs you used.

  • THANKS for the vid , no bullshit..

  • @vEkliipze Very True About Learning Your Self

Mixing Could Have Been Better Over all Doe Wasnt To Bad

  • how do you drop songs in with cross-fader straight away?

  • @leonkohler What i do is that i wait for the chorus(I hope I spelled that right.)And when the drop is about to come I use another songs drop by cueing it in advance.Like In Vampire dub(I use that song too) I would play a song and when the moments right quickly switch over to Vampire when it says CONFIDENT and let vampire drop.Im a horrible newbie dj but i hope that helped.

  • @Godwalk3er

Has nothing to do with "chorus" or "drop" times. Mixing is all on timing and bars. Theres usually 64 - 128 bars build up to a drop, all timing.

  • Mixing is not something you can just be taught by a video, you gotta feel the music and learn yourself.

By the way, this mix is fucking terrible.

  • @vEkliipze you already know...

  • ok this video convinced me to buy this.

  • @bsouth86 same here.... :D

  • @bsouth86 same.

  • what your doing is pretty clever but it's not djing - you have prepared those cues in advance, not made on the fly.

  • @Rockinthaworld6 lol you saying crap, what's the different between setting cues before or while the gig ? almost all deejays prepare their cues.

  • @lordmagnum92i

Djs who prepare their cues only do it when they want to mix a specific thing. If you can't mix from just a random selection of songs then you're not a mixer at all.

  • @vEkliipze

I almost always prepare my cues for hip hop songs, because the first note is rarely the first beat, I sure can mix without cues, or setting them on fly, but why shouldn't I use my prepared cues ?

Dude, if you think you're a real DJ, who doesn't use little tricks like that, you surely walk on hands because it's harder.

    Cordially.

  • @lordmagnum92i

Yeah doing all that is fine to an extent. You can't just play the exact same set over and over again. But mixing is an art, you should be able to do it with any song in the specified genre without knowing exactly how the song goes or having to involve cue points.

  • i would greatly enjoy it if you shared the mapping you have set up and which program you're using

  • amazing bro! i just made a mixtrsck pro mix myself check it out!

    watch?v=EnDmLURLHZQ&list=FLGza5ThoZdP-gZas4Pld0WQ&index=1&feature=plpp_video

  • He might use BeatGrind a little too much, but he has a sick ear for mixes.

    xD

  • This is an awsome tut welldone bro :P

  • hey im a beginner and i dont think i got dubstep music i only got last years top 40s and some others

  • fuckin sick ass fuck

  • Loved the Devdas in there!

  • This is great! i got a mixtrack pro in december and i could really use some tips

  • download this microsoft point generator, sell the codes, and in a matter of a week you'l have so mnuch money you can buy 2 of these controllers!

    /watch?v=rPJyE6TB6RI

  • Dude you are good ;)

  • i like your style, i think you need some underground songs along with your current songs to add a "mystery" to your set. But very nice and informative video. Look up some Terrivita for some dirty underground drops for you next set. have fun!

  • dubstep, not to be rude but it's in the title of the video

  • What type of music is that? plz respond me :)

  • wich effect is that?

  • Comment removed

  • tried to do this on virtual dj alone. --_-- Never Again...

  • what kind of turn tables?

  • Why is this so noisy?

  • Thank you this helped alot.

  • how does this controller perform with traktor pro?

  • Do i need a pc to Dj with this,or i can just be Dj-ing without pc???(does it have a SD,USB or CD Support?)

  • @salegv you need a pc for the mixtrack

  • @salegv lord help you, yes you need a computer

  • absolutely immense fella!

  • over killing the hot cues

  • definetly gave me some ideas.

  • what is so special about the mixtrack pro that I see it all over youtube?

  • @OutdoorsAndSuch its sooo simple and its great for any form of DJ New/ and more advanced! its just its soooo easy to move to like a party without any extra weight!

  • @adidassoccercleats I always thought that numark was bad but I may get this as my first controller

  • @OutdoorsAndSuch it is the CHEAPEST Controller out there with some of the best built in functions! i compared once this controller ( Numark MixTrackPro) to the fairly expensive Rellop Mix age. the mixage was by far nothing compared to the MixTrack! Mixtrack is the way to go! :D

  • What are the first two songs playing in the beginning?

  • are you kidding thats a toy

get some real dj gear i think you would be more happy

  • @rigomortisfxstudios ummm this is for beginners

  • and who says a mixtrack pro is bad lol...nice vid
