The hellgahst insignia looks nothing like svastika, it's more the black, red, white coloration and any charismatic leader sounds a bit like that (hitler's speeches were so intense because he actualy came during them, let alone that he was on amfetamins even before the WWII). I actually didn't play KZ, but it sounds to me like the developers try really hard to make the Helghast look like the bad guys and reference to nazism is about as far as you can go if you wanna make someone look bad.

Its hellish environment changed them, however, they adapted. They then attacked Vekta for revenge but were defeated. The ISA then attacked Helghan for revenge.

I got all MGS4 spin offs cos I genuinly like MGS. I like the story, the story telling and the characters. I also liked the concept of stealth wich is also why I really like the first 2 SC. All that went out the window in MGS4. Characters are not true to themselves, the story is stupid, cutscenes are too long and their purpose is just to tie any loose ends at any costs. And its not even a action stealth game anymore. I had lots of weapons that I kept shooting with no retrubitions. No punishment

NO! The helghast were previously humans like the ISA, however, they were oppressed and treated badly, so they escaped by moving to the nearby planet of Helghan. Its hellish environment changed them, however, they adapted. They then attacked Vekta for revenge but were defeated. The ISA then attacked Helghan for revenge.

there really is no bad guy in killzone here. As i remember the helghast were supplying the ISA with something but the ISA couldnt pay them enough so they cut off the supply, ISA fought and won the first helghan war, so the helghast invaded vetka, lost and now its a fight on their home planet. The helghast were designed off nazis and mad to act like the bad guy, but they are all just fighting for what they need.

Half-Life 2 single player was good back in 2004 when it was released. At that time, it was pretty innovative no doubt. But that bullshit is old now and it's been rehashed so many times now in many different games.
Oh and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch is probably the worst multiplayer game I've ever played.

I bought the orange box on the cheap and replayed the solo campaign on xbox and it was fantastic. And does the multiplayer components of the game have to do with immersion friend ? ps3 overpriced? Sure its pricier than an xbox, but totally worth it. Also bear in mind one may fork out hundreds to update a consistently obselete pc gaming rig, and $40 a year on xbox live. Whereas PS3 online is free, had built HD and blue-ray, and is the better investment as a multi media system, whcih an incredible rooster of games, GOTY LBP, God of War 3, Uncharted, Ratchet n Clank, KILLZONE 2, Resistance 1n 2, and not to mention the timeless MGS4, best game ever.

Totally worth it ? No. I have it, and still remain unimpressed. Sure HDMI is mighty fine and would like to have one for my 360 but thats about it. Online might be free but they're far from offering the same service as xbl. Millions of people play on xbl every day. On the other hand sony refuses still to deliver the number of people PLAYING(not connected) on the psn. LBP does not interest me. I hated God of war 1 & 2. Resistance 1 was an incomplete title(rushed to meet the deadline) and the second, from what ive seen seems like a shit game. As for MGS4 it disappointed me A LOT. And thats coming from a guy whos been fan of the franchise since MGS1 came out and bought all the spin offs of the series. Fuck the game was the reason I bought that toaster looking thing.

I got all MGS4 spin offs cos I genuinly like MGS. I like the story, the story telling and the characters. I also liked the concept of stealth wich is also why I really like the first 2 SC. All that went out the window in MGS4. Characters are not true to themselves, the story is stupid, cutscenes are too long and their purpose is just to tie any loose ends at any costs. And its not even a action stealth game anymore. I had lots of weapons that I kept shooting with no retrubitions. No punishment

hen it came to the run and gun. In Splinter Cell, the aiming is just bad, shooting is just bad. Its not because Ubisoft cant make a good shooter, R6V was decent. Its because they're trying to get you to play in restraint, in stealth. MGS4 didnt do that, you were encouraged to go and kill everybody. MGS4 is what happens when a game director listens to the requests and not the complaints of the fans. Everything that I loved about MGS wasnt in MGS4. Thats why I dont like it and me being a fan of

the GRAWs. The story is pretty cool even though the gameplay is weak. I also really liked Uncharted. Im eagirly awaiting for Among Thieves. As for games on other plateforms. Hmm MGS1, Shenmue, X-Wing Alliance and Jedi Knight II are some of my all time favourites. Also GTA4 kinda lacked in gameplay and would hop back on my favourite list if gameplay was easier, that auto aim shit is weak and unpractical.

But bare in mind this is also the opinion of many others. BTW, you clearly haven't got the same MGS4 i got, if yours 'encouraged you to kill everybody.' There are multiple ways to play the game, i.e stealthy, tranq only, all out action, mix of both etc. Which makes the game so brilliant.

Whats more, you feel the MGS4 story was stupid, it was a fucking Hollywood Blockbuster, 20 years in the making. The customisation was extensive, so was the Drebin points system, so i don't get what you mean by 'shooting with no retributions.' Especially when the gameplay is affected so much by the weapon you hold.
