  • I'm with these boys, too complicated! My moto, K.I.S.S. I'm sure everyone's heard it... Our job is about, "Speed with violent action..." I just don't want to see more guys go down in the rescue attempts because studies show, for every one man down, it will take 13 rescuers, 3 of which will need to be rescued themselves and 1 of which will run completely out of air and go down aswell.. Let's get home!!

  • this is good for training, however, large area search in a hostile environment or even in a RIT situation this technique would not be acceptable. too much rope and not enough control between the searhing firefighters, if something goes wrong, you would not have enough time to gather up as a group and get out, let alone another down firefighter in zero viz.

  • brothers how would you find your way out if you became lost....you have lost your egress point ..and to much rope that you can become tangled in
