but Nick has made it a little more easy to deal with and for that i thank him tremendously.
I think alot of people undermine the severity of diabetes. Most males with diabetes don't live past 60 and most of their 40-50's are spent dealing with the problems of it. My friend didn't take her insulin ONE time and she was on the floor in fetal position shivering all over. My grandpa almost had his whole leg amputated because he didn't take care of it. It's ranked as one of the top ten killer of American's. I just hope that Nick manages it well.
I think it's really great that they donated $100,000 to Change For The Children. Nick is amazing, and so are all the other people out there that do suffer from diabetes and are managing it and staying healthy(: it's a serious disease, and nobody needs to be looking down on it; it can kill you if you don't manage it. I spent a whole year studying and researching Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and I don't understand why pepole look on it as just another disease. It is very serious. So don't hate!

Actually yes. When my dad was in college he was on a mini tour as a guitar player and composer in a band called "How to Draw Ships." And really, it doesn't take much to take care of it except cut back on sugar. Which people should do anyway. And don't think I'm dissing the jonas brothers. Ugh it's really not that big a deal. Please don't like call me a hater or anything because I love the Jonas Brother's music but seriously they're overreacting. My grandpa and dad both have diabetes and they're fine. They just have to drink more water and cut down on sugar. That's all!

Actually yes. When my dad was in college he was on a mini tour as a guitar player and composer in a band called "How to Draw Ships." And really, it doesn't take much to take care of it except cut back on sugar. Which people should do anyway. And don't think I'm dissing the jonas brothers. I just think this isn't really a huge deal.

ummm no. he wont die. the only way he could die is if he has a really low bg and faints and no one helps him or if he goes really really high and into ketoasidosis. or if he doesnt take care of himself and has high bgs for a while he could develop complications later in life, not now. and he probably wont b/c most people with type 1 don't. its mostly people with type 2. so he wont die if he takes care of himself and neither will the thousands of other kids with type 1 like me.
