Well tell what exactly happened? Cuz I've been watching for the longest dude. From what I remember his character was "killed," then thats when they had no one to fly the blue lion and thats when the princess came in the pic.unless Im wrong

Wasn't there an episode where Allura did completely pilot the black lion and commanded Voltron? I also remember the episode where Lance piloted the blue lion on a special mission.

Yes - it was from the "Summit Meeting." Keith was injured and Allura took the Black Lion to try and defend the Castle, alone. The guys showed up at the end to help her. Also, the ep with Lance in Blue Lion was called, "The Deadly Flowers." Lance went to Planet Mira to get flowers that would cure Allura and the people on Arus, who were sickened by the flowers, sent by Haggar, the Witch.

My guess is the late 70s through 1988 were the best time for cartoons. Everything before and after that pretty much sucks. X-Men (Fox) - the original run being the last gasp of decent cartoons.
