Hello . Who said plus sized girls can't dance ! Putting your heart and soul into it is most important . It doesn't really matter if you're fat , thin , tall or short . Dance is a passion . Yes , i agree that this video is just capturing the emotions through visual graphics , but undeniably the director has done a good job ! For a dancer , it reminds them to the spirit of dancing . For an audience , it inspires people to dance . So stop being so critical and just enjoy the video !! :DD

No one said they were professionals - not everyone is lucky enough to get that far. They are beautiful dancers who probably worked really hard to be as good as they are and are possibly even quite proud of themselves. I liked the video, it made me think about how much I love dancing (UNprofessionally but quite happily).

Beautiful. I agree with some of the comments about the strength of the dancers, however I believe the concept is wonderful. I especially LOVED that part with the dancer with the purple sheet/ribbon. Absolutely loved the effect.

hm... I definitly have to agree. They showed no fluidity or confidence like the really good dansers do. Honestly, I dont see why they used them. And the old lady with the scarf- that looked so computer-made that it ruined the effect.

You know, I was thinking the same thing. If they had found senior students from one of the major schools, I think it would have had the effect they were going for. As it is, I can only focus on their poor classical technique in what are supposed to be the classical sections.

What do you mean by "Russian Pointes"? Are they different from other pointe shoes?

Russian Pointe is a brand of pointe shoes, just like Grishko, Capezio, etc. They are very light-colored, almost white, usually have a V-vamp, and a narrow leather sole. I wear them so I get a little excited when I see someone else wearing them, too.
