@Kayushi it is a steam engine.. i dont know the type but it is for the meseum... it think its from 1917???? if i remember. i live just down the road so
2,090,000 lbs.? That's almost an entire gigagram of weight! To wit: 2090000 lbs / 2.205 lbs per kg equals about 947000 kilograms or about 947 megagrams, not quite 1 gigagram.
Great Job....A Schnabel train rolled through Indian Head, Saskatchewan Canada way back in 1978......It was pulled by CP Rail in Canada & Burlinghton Northern in the U.S.A.....it came from Duluth Minnesota.
@niroom404 It would sure wake up all of your sleeping neighbors on a Monday morning! lol. Just don't get any ideas! I'd hate it if I was the cause of someone getting arrested.
@niroom404: I've got one that equals it, maybe a few milliseconds longer. Search "Amtrak P092 Silver Star with LOTS of Horn". For some reason, it won't let me post a link here. Got to love the good horn from the engineer on this video too!
Impressive video! Really neat watching that thing! I saw it pass through Kewanee. Wished I would've chased it to Galesburg. If it ever comes this way again, I definitely will.
I'd pull this beast with one or two DD35A's - or to be more realistic, since they still exist, with two DDA40X locos... :) - I'd also accept 3 Tunnel Motors doing the job. Upgrade, that is.... :)
they should've borrowed UP 6936 for that!

for something that big they should have borrowed some of CSX's SD80MAC's or AC6000's

I would love to see more products like this get hauled on the rails instead of the road. :-)
