the ucla defense will be solid as it is in general. they have laid the groundwork for a good offense with some talented true freshmen who will likely start. whether it takes off this year or next year is tbd. i'm open to anything.
as for san jose, they will not be taken lightly by usc. they are better than they appear. i'm just interested to see the offense ran by jeremy bates, and not steve sarkisian who frustrated us w/ his playcalling. barkley looks really good right now.
