Battlelog will be in the final game, but personally, I actually kinda like it. Just give it some time, and I'm sure you'll get used to it.

I like how I can keep surfing the web while the game launches, and then jump right in when it's done loading.

MLAA is a good technique with little performance hit compared to MSAA or AA. But it's blurry when I tried to utilise it for Shogun 2. It's blurry. I wonder if it's the same with Nvidia's FXAA. I wonder if its also blurry.

I don't mind games going to console as lead-platform, but they don't have to make the games suffer for it. They're using it as a legitimate excuse to make cheap underwhelming games, and charge way too much for them now.

It's funny how all the BF fanboys are saying the final build will be nothing like the Beta. They have got to be kidding themselves. DICE made BF3 like it in in the Beta because *that's how they want their game to be*. There will be no major changes because one, it comes out in 18 days, two, the Beta is the way it is because it's how they want their final build to be and third, reason for Beta is bug fixing/hacking testing. They are not going to do massive balance fixes or change anything major.

The build that they we are playing in Open Beta is a ONE MONTH OLD build. Because of Microsoft and Sony's Software Certification, they had to use an older build or they wouldn't of met the deadline that they set publicly. I have no idea if you are trolling or just ignorant, but at least sound like you know something before posting.

My whole point (that you clearly missed, thanks for pointing that out so obviously for everyone to see) was that the Beta was for bug fixing and hacking counter-measures for the final build. People are complaining about the general feel of the game and my point was that it's funny that people think this will change, because it won't.

I've been playing the Beta with 2 EVGA GTX 260 216 SSC cards. They game plays alright with medium settings and the cards in SLI.

I just ordered a pair of EVGA GTX 460 SC EE and really cannot wait to play the game on max settings.

I don't think EA is dumb enough to release a game that's as fucked up as the beta. Especially with the amount of money they're putting into advertising.

@kevinsdb1 The beta doesn't get the bugfixes and improvements. At the moment it's just for server testing purposes. Afaik the open beta is based on an later alpha version of battlefield 3. When the beta started dice already said, that the current version of the final is much more polished, stable and bugfree. Those bugs you see in the beta got fixed a long time ago. They released statements about that. Maybe someone should make a note here: IT'S NOT A FREE FUCKING DEMO FOR YOU TO PLAY.

I attended GeForce LAN 6. NVIDIA hosted a 64-player BF3 tournament. Check out my videos for footage.

I got to play it there, and it's near flawless.

Know that the gold-version of the game had leaked while GeForce LAN was happening, so what we were playing must've been the final release version or something very close to it.
