I can vouch for them playing their instruments, I've been to a live concert. Yes, they didn't play parts of the song that were doubled over, say for instance, the drums, but they STILL played most of the music. Better than rap artists not playing any instrument.

Hey buddy, i think you got something wrong....of course they do play their instruments, i went to a concert and they play it live. And it's an amazing concert by the way.

What they use is part of the song is pre-recorded for the sampler, but even in the metallica tour for death magnet they use this(part of the cd is playing on the background for introduction and samplers)
