the last screenshot... wOw!! maybe Melies was an iniciate of., it's only a though, one thing is for sure... he was an illuminated, not an illuminati, maybe a freemason, maybe that end is the very truth of everything: the great lie of the devil, or just fruit of the catolic traditional imagination, but that head in the middle of the pyramid...
Definitely Joan of Ark is a massive story for only 10 minutes film runtime, reason of his non-stop rythm, which I think ok for the case. 111 years movie!
I use Windows Movie Maker and mute whatever sound trac is on the film and add my own. If I want sound effects I do those first then download that and add music.
Too short... but beau !! Requiem for a dream could be the original soundtrack...so was her life... i love Besson version... thanx for sharin' !!

Requiem fits well, that Hollywood-Lord of the Rings-trailer music not so well.

It's so clean for a 110 years old film.
Was it digitally cleaned ???

They sometimes hand painted the film, or tinted the film stock to produce the colour. :)

Was this Melies film in color ? I thought all the silent films of the 1900 to 1920's were in black and white.

First music is from who? the one that starts with the movie itself, not the one showing "Ravenwood". After, just when the movie starts.
