thts wah happenin to my hair..lyk i have small bald spots and im using some kind of cream to put on it..but its not helping my HAIR grow..it did help to stop the redness and it didnt itche any more..but i still have one big bald spot and a smallllll one too..WHT SHOUD I DOO??
I know how you feel! I am a man and did loose my hair, but you can get used to it! Specially today with the new fashions going arround. The most important think is that you remember that your beauty is not in your hair. Just look at Sinead O'connor or Demmi Moore or Sigourney Weaver, they all looked great without hair. You are special and yes! beautiful! You just need to see the new you shine through.
My hair is thinning at I am a 30 yr old male. I am afraid to lose my hair and become bald. right now i am taking finasteride to control the hormone (DHT) in my body. also, i am using a shampoo that has selenium sulfide(heald & shoulder), and another shampoo which is T-Gel (2% tar) i use them alternately. also, i tam taking oil of oregano orally adding them to my drink..i add 2 drops of oregano oil becuz it is anti-fungal,anti-bacterial, anti yeast.i also put essential oils on my scalp&massage it
Going through the same now (eyebrows and everything else). Of the many ghastly diseases out there, that may result in an excruciating and prolonged death, this is one of the fairly benign ones that simply test our pride/vanity. If you think this sucks...just search for "leukemia", "cancer", or "AIDS". Dying at age 8 of cancer makes our situation seem pretty damn irrelevant. Put this situation in perspective. It sucks, yes. But life can suck a whole hell of a lot more.
Thanks for posting this. Your courage is inspiring. Watching this makes me remember when I shaved my scalp once and for all when I was 19- my hair never came back. I have Alopecia Universalis now, and I know that it is hard for men and women to cope with. I feel ya' sista! Keep the faith.
have you made an appointment with a dermatologist?I have the same condition and I'm cured now.Hang in there beautiful,at least you dont look like me a flat face filipino!!!(lol)
WOW it is amazing to see your alopecia because I have exactly the same condition...i know how u must feel inside even though u got to be positive it is hard. it is like you are on a journey to learn more about your self and the people in life coz some people treatyou like a zoo animal while others show compassion. i have some photos on my flickr dot com website under my name ashleyjamesmorgan1984 to show how similar our hair-raising experiences are hehe...
