I did that submerged helicopter training at RNAS Yeovilton in the late 90's. . . . Hell of a way to find out you have claustrophobia. It was either me or the other panic stricken guy next to me that kicked the safety diver in the nuts trying to scramble free.

i'll join in with the nit picking. the thing said you will be submerged, and then rolled 360 degrees, so you would end up back where you started: submerged.

That and the fact I'm sure Paul Merton's first guest of the entire show (the former presenter Nick Hancock) had pushed the lever so Dara is TECHNICALLY not the first person to do it...

Dara was allowed to pull the lever, but he still pushed it... Dara lost his one-in-a-lifetime chance!
