  • Timothy Olyphant played crumpet the elf off broadway and was telling a story about the exact scene you've animated (Little Elf, Little Elf) on Jay Leno a while back. Thanks for posting this so I could know what on earth he was on about. :D Makes his story even funnier.

  • Epic Win!

  • This is quite brilliantly done. Honestly, it's so much better than seeing him doing it live. It really captures the piece perfectly. Thank you!

  • Wow - it's unbelievable that no one has come here to tell you that your video was used (extensively!) in a CBS Sunday Morning profile of David Sedaris!! It aired Sunday, Jan. 9, and you might even be able to find the segment online. You should add "CBS Sunday Morning" to your search terms. Congratulations -- it's great to know someone else appreciates your work as it deserves. :)

  • "I'm gonna have you fired!"

"I'm going to have you killed"

  • wanna know something funny? we watched this in english class. were all 17 and all laughed through the entire thing :)

  • @KateSynd haha we watched this today too. xD i found it enjoyable.

    Someone "that elf is creepy".

Me: "No, that elf is just.. Real xD".

  • How long did this take to make, anyway? Just got to thinking of that for the first time, and can't IMAGINE!

  • This is great - nice job!

  • I love what you have done with this.

  • Love your illustrations ... but was your dad at all worried about the fact that your dedication to him follows right on the heels of a story about a TERRIBLE parent? :)

  • my dad was the one who introduced me to cumpet and david sedaris and part of the reason why he loved it so much was because of that exact line..."or i'll give you something to cry about". He said that to me and my brother as well as his parents saying it to him. haha

  • thats an awesome christmas present! well done

  • More like Billy Holiday towards the end of her career after suffering the effects of chemical dependency

  • Your kid like animation makes Santaland come alive. We listen to David Sedaris every Christmas, now we can watch it also.
