There is no logical answer to this. But there is a Bible and faith-based answer and its this: God didnt create Earth like this, it became like this through the rebellion in His heavenly realm. And as with every rebellion - it needs to show itself fully before the judgement is made. But, most importantly for us small human beings, He revealed that He is love, knows what we are going thru (hence Jesus) and will make things new. In the meantime He is our "Shepherd in the valley of death".

I appreciate your response but I am sorry to say IN MY VIEW it is complete nonsense. It gives me no comfort whatsoever. So hypothetically I am a 5 yr old child lost in a shopping centre.
