You can hear that it is inspired by Danny Elfmann's music, I suppose, but it's certainly wonderful in itself :-) I hope you'll do some more!

Sounds exactly the same as Elfman's score, but, not wanting to be mean, but this was one of Elfman's best scores, so I can't really say that it was better. It was GOOD, however, that's for certain.

Yeah, i used Cubase SX. It was all written by me though, no loops or pre-set patterns.

The combination of the harpsichord, cello, strings+pizz. and celesta was very nice!

Your piece it has the same sense Danny Elfman Brought to the movie I think (Never saw the movie but I have the soundtrack).

As audio and video I would have liked to hear sound effects also ;)

I didn't like the choir you used much, the way they stopped of sound. Maybe editing it or using a different SF, VST, etc; unless you wanted it like that.

0:49- The Brass note didn't fit well there and sounded empty also. I think you could have done that 'stop' or hit with the rest of the instruments you was using or connect those 2 parts; Oh including that just is the only brass note that sound in your piece! :P

Hey, thanks for the constructive criticism! I agree the Choir VST was awful, but i was just working with what i had, and that choir effect was free!

Its been a little while since i wrote it, but you may be right about it being the only brass sound....which is a terrible decision on my part!

Thanks! I can play cello, but i use VST's for all my compositions. Thats made using Edirol Orchestral, a nice set of Orchestral insts.

wow its really great. much better than mine. when i did mine to the scene..I didn't focuz too much on the similiarties of it in relation to Danny Elfman's music. But seeing this, I can sence a striking resemblance. how did you record this music?

I wrote the music on a programme called Cubase SX. It's what i used to write all my songs. You can record instruments in, as well as notate your music. Its an honour to be told my music resembles danny Elfman's!
