I'm not saying this game didn;t refine this type of gameplay, and certainly made it quicker/easier to use, but there was another game that used this dynamic cover system quite well.

This game is awesome. The most underrated shooter of all time in my opinion. I'm surprised there wasn't a sequel or two. The only disappointment to this game is the final fight. Once you learn how effective it is to retreat as far as you can and then fire, the game gets a bit too easy.

it's weird lol i didn't do that. i ran in, killed everyone, but when it was finally 1v1 between me and the last boss, i had a sliver of health left, and was like FUCK.

but then i blindfired him to death, which felt kinda lame but got the job done.

@MyEggIsBoiled, other games that were made before Gears of War, like 007: Everything or Nothing and The Godfather also have a simillar cover system to Kill.Switch. So GoW is not even the second game to use this kind of gameplay.
