it would have been better if you had just left the background hum from the audio clip and not put another one on top thats why it sounds so odd, i ran into the same trouble extracting the door sound from the big finish audios

he got the sfx from the end of Evolution of the Daleks when the Doctor talks to Caan.

One, that explains the dalek humming noise,

and Two, Caan moves his eye stalk a bit in that scene so thats where the moving sound came from.

Sound Sequenced before then animated the dalek based on the sounds then added the video to the audio after
