  • Up yours, baby!

  • all the lonely feelings and the burning memories..

  • Look under lyrics/guitar lyrics on the computer . Movie soundtrack lyrics .

  • This is one of my top favourites!

Have been looking for lyrics and chords for gitar on "Burning bridges" for MANY years!!!

Can somebody out there help me?

I just love that song, along with the movie as already written!

  • palmtreemike1 : Get the DVD or the video . Its worth it . I ordered the video , then ordered it again when I saw the ad for it . Was worried that I didnt have it . Now I have 2 videos of this great movie . The history of this movie is pretty good to . Just Wikepedia the movie and do some research . It very interesting stuff .

  • Lalo Schifrin wrote "Burning Bridges" the title song for Kellys heros and many other movies. Mike Curb wrote the lyrics. Mike Curb congregation performed the song. Lalo Schifrin wrote the theme songs to Mission Impossible, Mannix , Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee and a number of Clint Eastwood movies. Hes written so many scores I cant even begin to remember them all. He is that good. No one has even come close to his acheivements in music for film yet hardly anyone knows this powerhouses name.

  • Jadakiss -' 40 Bars of Terror' samples this! So does Terror Squad - "Yeah Yeah Yeah" Check it out

  • Some of the guys in ths which you might not know went on to higher things in entertianment . Dean Stanton was in "Alien" . George Savalas brother of Telly Savalas was a regular in "Kojac" . Stuart Margolin--Rockford Files . Gavin Macleod the love Boat .Tom Troupe various movies including "The Devils Brigade" .

  • Gotta love Lalo Schifrin . Lalo who ? ?....He wrote the melody

(the music) to this and Mission Impossible , Dirty Harry and a hundred other movies/T.V shows..... John Williams gets a lot of attention and rightfully so but Lalo has been making great music for 50 years without the fanfare . Hes extremely talented . I made a point of finding out who he was after listening to this song back in 1970 . Hes one of the greats .

  • something about this film . born 1968 , makes me feel good

  • 11 Negative Waves......

  • Always with the negative waves Moriarty, always with the negative waves.

  • Colonel Dunkhopf translation Colonel Blockhead LOLOLOL

  • @gillwilkinsongw ha yeah i watched it sunday great film

  • this is one of the coolest movies

  • I remember me and my dad used to sing this song when I was younger....it reminds me of him so much :(

  • I love that movie! It has been one of my favorites for years. Great music!

  • This should've been our National Anthem!!

  • RIP General , Big Joe and sgt Bellamy aka Len Lesser.

  • @postersandstuff Why God, why?!?!?!?!?!

  • Fantastic movie! As a hippy, it was fun seeing a band of hippies fighting everyone during WWII.

  • One of my favorite movies! All star cast and great action.Love the song and the movie, never get tried of watching it.

  • I was watching this sometime last week. My mom seen me watching the movie and told me how my Grandpop used to watch movies like this. Some of my favs are Kelly's Heroes, The Dirty Dozen, Hamburger Hill, Full Metal Jacket, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Joe Kid, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Firebase Gloria, and the Battle of the Bulge. If you liked this movie you will love these.

  • @ShrapnelOnTheFly Siege on Firebase Gloria was fucking epic! As was every other movie you named. Check out "Enemy at the Gates", and "Where Eagles Dare". You'll love those as well.

  • A truly classic film

  • this is one of the best scene from film alltime.

  • great film a true classic

  • @PrzyczepaKempingowa - No w sumie to juz jakiś czas mam Ten filmik w Ulubionych :) I lubię go przypomnieć zapominalskim co nie oglądają Tv :)

  • RIP grace job and Mitchell. Best ending to a movie, just driving off into the French sunset with some gold and all your boys.

  • This was made at a time when writers, producers and actors actually cared about the films they made, instead of the homoginised shit churned out by the Hollywood studios nowadays.

  • Awesome!

  • fucking brilliant

  • Woof Woof Woof it's a life style choice not just a movie!

The doctors must be right movies do affect your behaviour in later life LOL.

  • Kilroy says it all !

  • What a cast!!!!

  • This music makes all negative waves go away!

  • Up Yours Baby LMAO !!!!!

  • In the immortal words of Robert Frost, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference."

  • One of the best films ever made without a doubt...great acting,script,pacing...and since we are all watching this a damn fine soundtrack!!

  • lol i write that kilroy symbol thingy on all of my desks

  • I wonder if the tank could break down the doors of fort knox, leaves you thinking don't it

  • @MsCANUCK69 ~ You probably could break down the doors. But the soldiers working at the fort would definitely break you.

    Just saying.

  • $875000 each in 1944.... probably x 20 in todays money.

  • MAN!! ALL THAT GOLD!!

  • How many knew that Donald Sutherland was married to Shirley Douglas, her father was Tommy Douglas a Leberial member of Parliment and the Permier of Alberta back in the 1930s. Shirley was a Canadian. Keefer Sutherland was their son. How many of you Americans knew that and Canadians too?

  • I love this film been my fav since i was like 3 :D x

  • They'd never have gotten that gold back across the channel, never mind the states.

I'd have buried my share and gone back when the heat was off.

  • i wish the Army was like this when i was in 95-99

  • Maybe that is the message on the wall of Fort Knox where the feds have given away all of the gold. "up yours American people!1"

  • This and Inglourious Basterds would make the perfect double feature.

  • @taagsmasher I couldn't agree more! That would be like getting bananas in your cereal.

  • I worked in a Drive-In as a projectionist in 1970 when this movie came out. I got attached to the song very well .. and my father was in The European Theater in WW-2 during this time that this movie's time line was depected.

  • Man this movie will forever be one of my classics along with Where Eagles Dare!

  • LOL "up yours baby"

  • I'm with you all the way there folks..great movie..and every great movie should have great music to make it even greater..and Clint Eastwood has been in a few of them..I wouldn't take on a tiger tank though..not even for 16 million.

  • How strange that Clint hated making this film ,especially after the original director bowed out and the replacement changed the dynamic of the story, leaving the better scenes on the cutting room floor. It's in Clint's bio. And Sutherland came down with spinal meningitis during a break in filming and almost died! He looked woozy throughout the film and not just because of the character of Oddball. It is a terrific movie no matter what.

  • @NYVoice u don't no what the fuck ur talkin' bout, Bogart

  • With regards to what?

  • I'm with you there fellas..classic stuff if ever there was..I wouldn't take on a tiger tank though, even for 16 million dollars,

  • I love this song.

  • Great Movie,Great Song and also notice they used real WW2 weapons and vehicles unlike a lot of WW2 movies that had definitely not WW2 stuff, hell I'm surprised some of those flicks didn't have Phantom Jets and Migs as the WW2 Planes.

  • Great film.Great soundtrack..

  • a song written about all of our lives !!

  • Comment removed

  • @Antonvdbol

Its negative waves. WAVES! you FOOL!

  • Why didn't they use the tank to pull the doors off and how did the guys who entered the scene from a side door get in?Inquiring minds wanna know.

  • What a classic! They just don't make 'em like this anymore! This is the movie where I fell in love with Donald Sutherland, lol! I can't hear this awesome song enough!

  • I have a collection of over 600 DVDs.

The very first DVD I ever purchased... Kelly's Heroes.

I may have that movie buried with me.

  • I LOVE BABRA! HE IS THE BEST!!!

  • Your're not going to believe this, but I just saw Kellys Heroes about three days ago and its a great movie. I had no Idea how great of a movie it is. Donald Sutherland is awsome as Odball. He was so convincing.

  • @kenwayne96 You'd like him in "The Bedford Incident" starring USS Mahan DLG 11 as "USS Bedford DLG 113".Every Mahan crewmember is required to own a copy.

  • This was not only the very first Clint Eastwood movie I ever saw. It was the first time I had ever heard of Clint Eastwood...period! And, I did both at a not-so-little place called Skyview Drive-in, Torrington, Connecticut. The drive-in's long since gone, though. Bankrupted by the VHS boom, and the property converted into a "retirement housing complex."

  • @Carycomic

P.S.---I saw a TV documentary on WWII, about 20 years after this came out. I think it was narrated by Peter Falk (of COLUMBO fame). And, where I previously thought it had been done mostly as an anti-Vietnam War satire, I was surprised to learn that it was also partially based on a true story!

  • Excellent music and cast, well done THE USA,

  • one of best war movies

  • Don't hit me with those negative waves so early in the morning!

    It's a beautiful tank

    Woof Woof!

    Oddball was great

  • Yo, capt Killroy, thx for the bridge, now up yours baby!!!!

  • gr8 classic movie i have just watched it and it is a lot better than nowdays war movie, it ...it's unbeliveable

  • lol you started it invading poland lol nice

  • Oh, so that's what the end looks and sounds like. Everytime i watch the movie the station minimizes it on the screen and some moron talks over the song about some dumb ass sit com coming up next that i couldn't give a damn about!

  • I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who this really pisses off...why do they do that!?

  • "woof woof thats my other dog impression"

  • the film version of this sing starts of with a eight second drum beat that is left of the record version

  • brill crew yeh baby

  • up yours baby ...

  • doesn't that ending make you so happy? don't you just want to be part of that crew? love it.

  • How do they get the gold out of europe ?Oddball-the ww 2 hippie.

  • @Bpopkins as it's based on true events hell ya, still in top 20 of all bank jobs i beleave

  • @Bpopkins deffo dude,wish i was in that crew!!!!! ;) :)

  • @Bpopkins actually yes i am

  • @Bpopkins the up yours baby is da best bit

  • @Bpopkins yeah.. totally relate......

  • For years I kept thinking the German tank comander at the end was Marlin Brando, guess not! Great movie!

  • @tymbershade

i think that guy was on an episode of faulty towers, the one with the german visitors.....

  • ouch!!! brando would NOT be flattered, haha! i always giggled how they managed to find the generalized, german treats....blond, blue-eyed, thick-lipped, definitely not sympathetic, speaking with a pityful accent...and when he finally smiles, he's even more scary, haha !

  • awesome movie man

    feel the positive rays man

  • An hippy in WWII... must be arrived from the 60's through a time tunnel XD

...and the song? So in the mood of the 60's, too (in a film setting in the WWII) XD

All an all, this is one of my favourite films. Good actors in a good story in a good film. A classic!

  • Kelly's Heroes - Final Scene - Watch popular TVShows at W W W . TV-Vide . NET

  • So classic! The last scene. They end up snubbing the guy that snubbed them earlier in the movie. Rolled when Eastwood, Savalas, Sutherland confrontedoff the tiger tank in the town square...when Sutherland makes like a cowboy. Truly hilarious, maybe drawing off a little bit of Eastwood's days in Leone's spaghetti westerns..........truly hilarious.

  • @madtoytle Definitely a riff on Clint's Leone/Morricone association, especially "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". I'm currently reading a bunch of bios of Eastwood, and Richard Schickel quotes Clint as saying he didn't at the moment of filming the town square scene pick up on the spaghetti western reference until much later when he saw the movie--and he wasn't happy about it at all! (He thought "Kelly's Heroes" could have been a much better film)

  • Melissa TheuriauMelissa I wish there could be more films of this caliber made today, but it just doesn't happen. Maybe Ocean's 11 with Clooney was about as close as we can get to having a huge cast in a caper that is fun.

  • This is an amazing movie on so many levels. A couple already mentioned are Oddball's lines about his OTHER dog impression, and eating cheese.

So many great actors in this! Telly Sevalas as the hard-ass sergeant is great. I think he and Sutherland had just been in Dirty Dozen a couple years before with such different characters (both are really awesome actors). Eastwood had finally become a star in America.

And the over-all feeling of the film is fun. Not a lot of movies catch that.

  • WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?

    just, you know.

eating some cheese, drinking some wine

    catching some rays.

  • hahaha love that part excpecially what he say after "well he anti-social"

  • deninetly an antisocial type.

WOOF WOOF WOOF! thats my other dog imitation. uhu

  • ya a great movie

  • its a classic !!!!

  • Always with the negative waves!

  • Up yours baby.

  • I didn't realize until now that Seinfeld's Uncle Leo (Len Lesser) is in this movie (1:49)!

    Great movie!

  • bobra is the best. "who you writin to" "my mom" "you do that" haha lolol lmao

  • Kilroy was here!

  • Wasn't 3 kings that sort of movie?

  • Not really !

  • This was written by the same guy who did Italian Job the year before.

The simularity of ocurse is that a great script is suddenly halted with action for the attack on the town or indeed the bank raid and chase scene.

It was on TV last night and never before registered the great line from Oddball...

'To a New Yorker like you, a hero is some kinda weird sandwich. Not a nut who goes after three Tigers!'

  • number 1 very good

  • breakbeat of doom!!!!!!

  • if they olly made a number two

yeah think you a second kellys heros like the titel kellys heros 2 the return to our best movie heros

with all of them (kelly and the others)

and and benny hill and bud spencer in a movie like that bud just smacking the germens and pounch the tigers so they fly a way

that should be a movie i would have buy

  • Great movie. Top 3.

  • good movie

  • UP YOURS BABY ^^

  • lalo schifrin is argentine!!!!!!! one of the best composers!

  • "always with the negative waves Moriarty"......."crap"....love it

  • I love this film since i was 4.

    Best film in this universe.

  • Lol, I couldnt help thinking the same thing when I played the game!

  • I loved the scene when the German tank captain blew the bank door open. To hell with orders! Gold talks!

  • lol great movie

  • A great end to a great movie

  • One of my favorite end-credit sequences, I like these kinds that actually show the characters/actors faces alongside the character names so you know who is who, even if this one is a bit overly inclusive (did we really need "German Lieutenant?").

  • up yours baby

  • *****

  • One of the best and most funny war movies of all times.

And with a very good cast.

  • love the song :-D

  • great movie. love it. all the cast was cool except for CPT maitland and b. gen. colt. they were both assholes.

  • greatest film everlove it watched it 3 times back to back with my dad and never got bored song always brings a tear to my eye reminds me of my grandad

  • I adore this movie and maybe one of the ever made.

  • One of the best 'war' flicks ever put on film --one of Eastwood's best effort. Southerland should have gotten ''Best Supporting Actor'. I cannot think of a single performance that was not FIVE STARS! Thanks for posting.

  • One of my all-time faves, whenever it's on TV I have to watch it - and a great song.

  • film stupendo !! eastwood e' un fenomeno , grazie clint !

  • lol The captains such a dickweed...Just had to say that...I like the movie but why does everyone have a Thompson...theres never any rifles!

  • They are not sharpshooters. Just some smg spammers ...

  • Sad part, I know officers and NCO like that who would screw over their own soldiers.

  • One of the best war movies ever made. Here in NZ, the song "Burning Bridges" was a number 1 hit several weeks before the movie even reached the theatres. Years later, the plot and story lines were ripped off in a second-rate remake called Three Kings

  • Yeah, Three Kings, was'nt that with Bradd Pitt or someone, when they find a Gold shipment in a Desert or something? It sounds familiar, I seen a promo for it on a TV station a few weeks ago...

  • best film ever made

  • One sweet tune and one of the best movies ever.

  • Kelly hősei a legnagyobb

  • You should watch this movie in a hobby shop full of loud WWII experts like I did... Whoa!

  • looooove the movie and song :D

gotta watch it again....and again and again and again.....

  • i really like the story and the humor in the movie

    but fighting scenes doe suck

  • patuco tryng to clear and freeing a jam when taking the town looked pretty real.............

  • It was made during Vietnam, the last thing people wanted to see soldiers doing was fighting and killing, but a small team of wise cracking joke soldiers on a quest for gold, that is,ignore the expression, gold!

  • k, sorry

you're right, it reminds me a bit of an anti-warmovie, which it actually was :-D

  • I wouldnt go as far as to say its an anti war film, but its def not a war movie lol

  • the best way to describe KELLY'S HEROES if we were the solidiers this how we would have wanted it, except losing 3 comrads. but we get theGOLD baby lol

  • nie donny osmond tylko Mike Curb Congregation - Burning Bridges

  • great movie!:D

  • Ten film ogląda się właśnie za tą piosenkę :D

Tak samo jak serię filmów o Godzilli, bo tam jest super podkład dzwiekowy :D

  • Czemu już nie robią takich filmów ?

    ;/

  • Uwielbiam tą piosenkę :) Kto wie czyj to utwór ?

  • To "Burning bridges"- Donny Osmond

  • let's mount up and ride to WALL STREET AND NAIL THE BANKSTERS.
