Al humdo le Allah. I was there in the Haram-Mecca that night and I was in that prayer with him. It was 27th of Ramadan hence the expected the Night of Destiny"lilat el qadar". May Allah accept our deeds and rain us with his mercy.

Also this iman"Saood Shiraim" always tries very hard to control his tears. I have obsreved him whenever he is about to cry he goes for Rokooa, but that night wow it was amazingly beautiful. He couldn't go to rokooa because he had to complete Al Fatiha! May allah accept his sincerity and our 2 amen.

That's Saud Al-Shuraim. One of the Imam and Khateeb of Masjidul Haram. Once in one of his class in the Haram Shareef he said, Your prayer is invalid if you either laugh or cry. Then everyone was amzaed knowing what about him who burst into cryes often. Then He said after a while. Well, if one cries with 'Ikhlas' sincerety that is acceptable and he Prayed May Allah give us the Ikhlas and he cried.

He is the one of the most God fearing Imam I have seen. May Allah protect our sincere scholars.

I think the reason why I cried when listening to many verses of the quran, including this one as well, is because it's the strength and the power of God that brings fear inside of us when we look into the core meaning of each verse, It's the feeling that we are sinners, that we aren't prepared for Qiyamat, we haven't asked for enough forgiveness, and the reason why I cry a lot when listening to the Quran is because it's the fact that I'm just not a good Muslim.

We all wish that we are like certain people, but what we mus know is that people worked HARD to get to where they are. e.g. listening to som1 who got a nice voice when reciting quran, you must know that he worked for it and if WISH to be like him/her then WORK like him/her.
