With your attitude, you more than likely mouthed off at reception to have a room RIGHT AWAY. You obviously were in a room that had not been serviced after the previous guest had left. Next time , cut the attitude and wait for housekeeping to do their job. My experience over several visits there have been great. Patience, you are on vacation.
Wahh wahhh wahhhhh! Quit your bitching. If you're so damn high maintenance that you need a room that costs $200-$300 per night to make you feel properly pampered, then go somewhere else and don't rely on hotels.com to do the choosing for you.
I've been staying at the Imperial Palace since 1994 and I've never had any of these problems. The IP is consistently an affordable and perfectly located choice to stay on the strip.
So call housekeeping, have the room cleaned, and shut the F up.
They don't expect you to have the room in that state - it was a mistake. I waited 4 hours because check in was not until 4pm so I checked bags and went playing. My room was great. Remember you get what you get for $32
You get what you pay for...I would try either the Flamingo or Bally's if you're looking for a center strip location that's not too hard on the wallet.
Hahaha ur comments are way more mad than I ever was. Lol

Just to be clear...my dislike is about your attitude, not the IP. Have you NEVER before been sent to a room that had been missed by housekeeping?
and OMG OMG - bird poop - on an open balcony! SHOCKING! Guess the IP forgot to put diapers on the pigeons.
I hope they moved you to a Capri room with a view of the parking garage.
