  • @pumpiron19 man come on burning fat and gaining musce is almost imposible it's best to fucus on one or the other cuz when ur trying to do both and eating the way you said ur gonna get slot thinner but not gain much muscle cuz ur burning most ur calories doin cardio and stuff it's best to fucus on losing wieght then building muscle or the oter way around but you guys gotta keep your sprout up and keep increaseing it over time

  • love the video, youre advice is spot on,one little thing id add is,do your 20 mins cardio first thing in the morning before breakfast,as there is no carbs in your body, fat will burn a lot quicker as a result, dont eat breakfast for an hour after ,even after cardio your body is still burning fat!!

  • Mmm while some of his points are valid, to build muscle first you need to be getting sufficient protein (1g per pound of body weight at least). In addition you need to be getting a ratio of 40% protein 40% carbs and 20% fats (healthy fats like omega 6 and 3). a protein without a carb is almost worthless. It is impossible to effectively gain muscle mass while leaning down, because to gain muscle your body needs a surplus of calories, while to lean down it requires a deficiency of calories.

  • I recommend to my clients never to go past 3 hours without eating. Just to further your knowledge, look up leptin. Its a protein hormone that regulate metabolism. If you understand this you will realize you can cheat, and eat poorly occasionally and it actually helps burn fat. If you got questions feel free to ask me.

    lunch eg. chicken/mayo/avo pita bread

    2 hours after shake

    dinner.. setc.. meats veggies as sed in video..

    then i tak a long release protein shake to keep me in shape and wake up healthy in the morning :D

  • actually it all depends on how much u exercise, the more u exercise the more calories u need to eat. If u exercise alot and only eat 2k calories a day your gonna lose weight fast and thats not really good.

  • A. Calories are calories.. no matter where they come from. If I'm going to be eating healthy and consuming 3500 calories .. I WILL GET FAT! However, if I eat junk food and keep caloric deficit - I WILL SLIM DOWN!!!.. Period. As simple as that.

    B. The thing is that you feel fuller when you eat right and every 3-4 hours.. as long as you don't put yourself in starving mode..

    C. The problem with the fast food is that by the time you feel full - you consumed 2700 calories.. otherwise, who cares..

    Show me scientific article which proves that it does, and dont show me a link of some dude saying it does without evidence. The only thing 5 smaller meals does is save the stomach. 5 Meals doesnt speed up matabolism, the only normal things wich increase your metabolism are exersize and your thyroid.

    Calories dont count, and when you starting counting them your just wasting your time. Eat the right type of foods and do the right workouts.

    I eat 3-5k calories a day and i work out hard and have no problem with weight.

  • @pumpiron19 That goes against everything I have ever heard.. Eat more than your maintenance weight, you gain weight (muscle, fat) eat less, you lose weight.. Simple as that.. If you were eating 3 to 5 k a day, which you most likely are not, you would be a lard ass regardless how "clean" the food is.

You are right you will have a leaner/more muscular body faster if you eat more protein and veggies because it helps retain muscle. But you are a retard if you actually think calories don't count. Don't lie to all the fat people who are gonna go try to eat 5000 calories and think they will still lose weight. doesn't wor like that.

    i only ate REAL FOOD, no man made shit...and lost close to 40lbs in 4 months...BUT i stuck to it 100% and id didn't eat anything past 8pm (3 hrs before bedtime)

  • @DonLitichi Calories are just confusing people sugar is really the main problem with gaining so much fat that and the harmful chemicals in lots of foods now adays since your liver cannot clean out the chemicals it doesnt break down the fat and etc. So it doesnt really matter how much you eat a day unless its like more than 5 HUGE meals so things like fruits raw veggies and unprocessed meat are good things with preservatives are just horrible . And diet soda is actually worse than sugar soda.

    your an idiot. Yes, don't eat more than 3 BIG meals a day, but you're SUPPOSE TO EAT AT LEAST 6 SMALL MEALS THROUGHOUT THE DAY EVERY 2-3 HOURS. It's for Metabolic purposes. eating 3 big meals throughout the day is actually harmful for you because your body stores those calories as fat because it knows that it will not be fed again for another 5-6 hours. You really have absolutely no idea what your talking about. If you want, I can send you links that prove this point.

    If you balance it out well it actually works better for most people.

    Especially if you don't like feeling full. There's no real 100% formula just try and see what works for you.

    You need protein you need fat you need carbohydrates - Macronutrients

    and then you need micronutrients. Find your BMR and just do it.

  • 3 Years ago, I was heaviest ever at 12 stone + 4 lbs. I hated the way I look so on October 8th 2007, was the day I started on my diet and excercise programme. It was hardwork but I liked the results which kept me motivated and 6 weks later I lost 1 1/2 stone!!

    I have maintained the weight on and off and from today October 1st 2010, I am going to do the same again but this time to get rid of my stomache fat/lose weight and tone up in January all ready for my holiday in Malta in April.

    An egg two slices of bread and a lil spam for breakfast.

    a lil White rice (ik but I don't have brown rice), and egg

    Some sort of meat but definitely not lean and a very nutritious soup.

    And water in between each meal around 10 cups a day.

    For a work out 50 Body Squats 3 reps

    60 Push ups(I can crank it up to a 100 tho)

    15 Pull ups (that's all I can do period)

  • Hey man, thats great advice. Just wondering though,

    at the start of last year I was around 210 lbs I managed to get down to about 160 lbs. I look much better now and I am happy with what I have accomplished. However I still have that bit of excess fat hanging around my stomach, chest and waist. I know that it is not the right answer to try and lose more weight because for my height my body weight is pretty good now.

    How would you recommend losing this excess fat?

  • Hey Buddy, I think your advice is sound.

    Can you just confirm that my diet is safe though..

    Im planning on having cereals or a sandwich as my main daily carb source (for breakfast), thereafter my meals will consist of protein shakes or lean meats/fish with lots of vegetables? The key here that veg is good source of nutrients and extremely low in calories.

    Also, may I ask. When you say cut out starches are you still referring to potatoes and white rice?

    I like your diet, but there is 2 things to consider. 1st your going to have to add some good fats as in healthy uncooked nuts, because fats regulate your metabolism and are necessary for your brain. 2nd watch out for the cereals as they have a lot of sugar, i suggest eating old fashion oatmeal with protein powder and water. Also think about egg whites, they do not contain any fat nor sugar.

    but my secret is drink "powerade " and "reedbull" thats will give you a lot of strenght!!!!! believe in me, this will give you much more results!

  • it gives you energy because you are consuming sugars and caffeine. But what ever works for you man. this is for the majority of that people who don't have fast metabolism and cant not eat whatever they want and stay skinny. plus it depends on your life style and how active you are :D
