All the instruments are backwards and forward compatibale (use RB1 instruments on RB2 and vice-versa). Also for $5 you can move almost all the songs from your RB1 disc into the RB2 game.

yea you have to pay 400MP. kinda sucks,but pretty cool. kinda disappointed at the fact Run To The hill's can't be transferred.

Misc licensing issues were the problem.

however a plus side to getting the old songs back is that you can remove any songs you didnt like from the last game.

yea, i know but oh well, because now that i think about it metallica has some deals with GH and so does ozzy and black sabbith, so those songs are understandable, as for iron maidens issue, I don't know the deal either they gonna have a deal with GH or they just didn't come to an agreement for the exporting

They have made a kit that is the same shape as the 1st one but it has new, quieter pads, a 3 cymbal add-on pack and a metal bass pedal. Also 2 pedal inputs for double bass if you want. The $300 kit is a totally seperate 3rd party peripheral made by Alesis who make electronic drum kits.

i hate ppl that complain about the drums on GHWT are better than the rock band ones. theres too stuff b/c there 6. y not just stick 12 buttons on the guitar so they can learn guitar. its unbalanced unlike in rock band.
