Pat doesnt realize one thing.....if Ron Paul would cause the defeat of the republicans, and he's the only republican telling the truth....isnt that a good thing?
You Ron Paul supporters can buy a bazillion bumper stickers to cover every square inch of America, but its all for naught if you aren't fully prepared to combat election fraud. It's absolutely guaranteed to happen. The GOP has a good chance of getting away with it if you simply wait until a given primary is over and then cry foul. If they know you're conducting independent and credible exit polls, they will certainly think twice, and it will also validate any demands for hand re-counts.
The problem Ron Paul has is that most of his supporters are independents and not registered Republicans, therefore they can't vote in the primaries, which will make it very hard for him to win the nomination. He should really run as an independent or Libertarian.
Rudy, Mitt and Mike are front runners...? A Capitalist, who's only concern is the preservation of his investments...and 2 delusional morons. One with a degree in...THEOLOGY(HOLY SHIT!) and a indecisive dimwit who gains support every time he says 'I believe in Jesus.'
If Ron Paul was to consider running as a 3rd party candidate, he wouldnt only take votes from the GOP ( which wouldnt be a bad thing ) he would take the INDEP vote and alot of the DEMOCRAT vote!! Dennis Kucinich would be his running mate! UNITE FOR FREEDOM08
I like what Pat Buchanan said about Dr. Paul, because all of it is flattering and all of it is true. What I bristle at is the third party talk and his concerns over Dr. Paul stealing votes from another Republican nominee. It is a veiled invalidation of Dr. Paul's chances. Because there is not a candidate, Democrat or Republican, other than Dr. Paul, that I would vote for. Dr. Paul is the only candidate who has demonstrated consistent good judgment. I would write in his name if I had to!
It is worth noting that shows like The View and Ellen offer up softballs to candidates Clinton and Obama, and Fox News does similarly for Guiliani and Huckabee, all treating these egocentric CFR puppets as if they walked on water, but are cordial but condescending, or outright attack, as they throw hardballs at Dr. Paul.
If it's not Ron Paul, Mike Gravel or Dennis Kucinich, I don't give a shit and won't vote; the rest of them are liars. I think there are a lot more people, who feel as I do, than Pat's poll would seem to indicate.
I am definitely going to donate on dec,16. I wanted to donate on the late donation date but was low on money. Can anyone tell me the site where I could go to donate?

December 4, 2007. I received an automated telephone poll call for Republican primary candidates. Ron Paul's name was missing, so I pressed 6, for "other." When I pressed 6, it responded as though I had hit 7 and removed me from the list. I KNOW I HIT 6 because I was looking right at the number and made darned sure I did. I am DISGUSTED with these corrupt political parties!

Yes they are all decent men as they undermine your freedoms and subvert the CONSTITUTION, and the Constitutions of their own Republics.
I know a lot of my fellow Ron Paul supporters will disagree with me but I believe that Buchanan was objectively calling it like he sees it, unlike some other commentators who have clear bias. Paul himself is cautiously optimistic. These guys are campaign veterans and know the challenges that must be overcome. But there is still a month to go and Paul's support is definitely growing.
Exactly. From these men we're seeing true conservatism in action. They don't get sucked into the crazed hype or spin that comes from both opponents and overzealous supporters. Regardless of one's beliefs, it is a good example to follow that would lead to more results and effective leadership in the political arena.

You have to understand that this whole American Political System is so Biased especially against those who run independently.. its only two parties Democrats and republics. the third parties really dont count, and its very unfortunate that the system is like that.
Buchanan is such a neo-con tool to call Ron Paul his friend and stab him in the same breath. No true patriot would whore themselves to corporate bought media.
The united states government was founded to protect the rights of individuals from the greed of corporations. Why would anyone contend therefore that corporations are persons? Ron Paul can help us regain our government.
The GOP is ripe for a big smack to the head. They still greatly underestimate the passion of the Ron Paul Revolution. Love will bring people out in record numbers in the primaries. This is our revolution. Ron Paul is now the symbol for it. No other candidate has the passionate supporters that Ron Paul does.
I pray that people's faith in mainstream media is plummeting like mine did when I was in high school. The media machine is efficient at warping popular opinion.
Buchanan obviously thinks "he's great, but he doesn't stand a chance". That's a judgment of fact, not preference, and it means that a strong showing from RP could change his mind.
It is not a statement of "fact," it is his "opinion. It would be a fact if the election had already happened. I believe in saying what you want to happen, not what you don't want to happen. Have you seen The Secret?
Anyone who talks about 3rd party runs in this country is totally ignorant of how our political system functions.
Like it or not, this is a two-party system, and only someone who is out to get publicity or hurt one of the parties runs on a 3rd-party ticket as Ralph Nader did.
The republican party will have no choice but to give Ron Paul the nomination when he has massive victories in the primaries.
Republicans have a clear choice for their next president--Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton.

It seems like people are ready for a black President or a woman President but when it comes to the only candidate with common sense (and the only one who has read & understands our Constitution that guides his judgement), no one seems to want that!
Most of Ron Paul's support comes from Democrats. That is why he does so well on CNN, and other polls. He will have my support since I am a republican. However most voters are stupid, and vote for name over views. Gulliani has the biggest brand name, so idiots will vote for him w/o even knowing his politics.
I'm not an US citizen, nor do I live in US, but I have been following the news articles and interviews of candidates for the US presidential elections, and I wholy agree with you when you say Ron Paul is "the only candidate with common sense" I wish he wins the nominations and elections!
I can't believe Pat sat there and said all those positive things about Ron then turns right around and says Huckabee! Maybe Ron will still invite him to the White House though.
Huckabee? Come on, Pat! You've got to be kidding me right? Huckabee is a slick talker but he's not going to fly. His campaign is catching on some fire now but it's too late. Look at the Ron paul juggernaut! He's got lots of DOUGH, he's got lots of support, spotless record, heavy advertising in the first states. Pat, don't say anything if you're not going to say the truth.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
those ppl were in a pre 9/11 world. you know who benefits from all the freedoms we have? the terrorists cells that operate in this Country. if you want to stop them, you need to re-write the constitution and bill of rights
"Those ppl", as you refer to them, had more foresight than the short sighted pinheads who are running this country into the ground today. Freedom is freedom is freedom. Then, now, and forever. Those who give up liberty for safety niether get nor deserve either.
"Those who sacrifice temporary liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor security"--Benjamin Franklin..
Stop being scared and see the world for what it really is.. your perspective of the world probably only comes from FOX and CNN.. i pity your ignorance fool
He has also stated explicitly and recently his support for even MORE world government "that's the direction we need to go in." Google it. Gravel seems dangerous to me for that reason, among others.
People need to start treating opponents with respect, even if they're not entirely correct on the issues. That's the only way to win anyone over, and plus, its childish to act so arrogant over tiny mistakes.
Thats what draws even those of us that don't agree on much!! but the important things like THE CONSTITUTION and the RULE OF LAW APPLYING TO OUR GOVERNMENT... well that works for me...
I campaigned for Pat as a Republican and Reform Party member, I am a Ron Paul supporter and I can tell all of you Ron Paul has way more support than Pat did, and Pat won New Hampshire - but I do like Pat :)
Wolf's a shill, just like the others. He's forever trying to undermine RP's chances. There's not one interview he doesn't call him a Libertarian, effectively alienating Dr Paul from the Republican base he so needs.
Even here, with Dr Paul on 9% in NH (ie more than McCain), they are still using the "Long-shot" phrase in their infobar.
Jack Cafferty is the fairest guy in media for Dr Paul.
Buchanan is such a tool...sigh. "I like him personally and think he's right...but I'm not gonna endorse him or say that he can win the nomination."
Wow.
Don't listen to these hacks...get out on the streets and let people know that if they want a chance to change this country it has to be Ron Paul in 08.
Buchanan probably doesn't want to piss off all of his Repub buddies by taking any extreme positions. Actually, no you're right he IS a fucking tool for saying that!
As a TV political commentator Pat is asked to present an unbiased political point of view. To endorse any candidate would create doubt in his objectivity. Do you see Wolf Blitzer endorsing anyone? No and you won't.
To me, this non endorsement was one hell of an endorsement!
nice prediction Pat ..lol

Look at the Ron paul juggernaut! He's got lots of DOUGH, he's got lots of support, spotless record, heavy advertising in the first states. Pat, don't say anything if you're not going to say the truth.

those ppl were in a pre 9/11 world. you know who benefits from all the freedoms we have? the terrorists cells that operate in this Country. if you want to stop them, you need to re-write the constitution and bill of rights
fairandbalencedfox 4 years ago
"Those ppl", as you refer to them, had more foresight than the short sighted pinheads who are running this country into the ground today. Freedom is freedom is freedom. Then, now, and forever. Those who give up liberty for safety niether get nor deserve either.
vandaliegh 4 years ago 9
You didn`t even mention the fact that 70% of American`s are now officially unamerican according to you.

i don't deny that 70% hate their Country, and we need to build more prisons to house these terror supporters

I don't understand. Are you serious? If so, you need to go to school or somethin. Seriously.

wrong. it's the stupid liberal faggots and the aclu who support the very freedoms that make things easy for terrorists

Mike Gravel doesn't support the war either. And makes a promise to get out in 120 days.
I don't see Ron Paul doing that.
PersonalJesus348 4 years ago
He has also stated explicitly and recently his support for even MORE world government "that's the direction we need to go in." Google it. Gravel seems dangerous to me for that reason, among others.
papalgoose 4 years ago
no your a fucking idiot. We should have more say what the US does in the world. Not a one world government. Ya idiot.
PersonalJesus348 4 years ago
People need to start treating opponents with respect, even if they're not entirely correct on the issues. That's the only way to win anyone over, and plus, its childish to act so arrogant over tiny mistakes.

A great Ron Paul story and a blistering Pat Buchanan acknowledgment that Ron Paul is the man! Now it's up to us to turn out the vote.

HONESTY AND INTEGRITY..
Thats what draws even those of us that don't agree on much!! but the important things like THE CONSTITUTION and the RULE OF LAW APPLYING TO OUR GOVERNMENT... well that works for me...
I say lets give HONESTY a chance for four years

I campaigned for Pat as a Republican and Reform Party member, I am a Ron Paul supporter and I can tell all of you Ron Paul has way more support than Pat did, and Pat won New Hampshire - but I do like Pat :)

Wolf definitely gets it. He's probably the fairest of all mainstream news mouthpieces.
rileykellybryan 4 years ago
Wolf's a shill, just like the others. He's forever trying to undermine RP's chances. There's not one interview he doesn't call him a Libertarian, effectively alienating Dr Paul from the Republican base he so needs.
Even here, with Dr Paul on 9% in NH (ie more than McCain), they are still using the "Long-shot" phrase in their infobar.
Jack Cafferty is the fairest guy in media for Dr Paul.

Buchanan is such a tool...sigh. "I like him personally and think he's right...but I'm not gonna endorse him or say that he can win the nomination."
Wow.
Don't listen to these hacks...get out on the streets and let people know that if they want a chance to change this country it has to be Ron Paul in 08.
one1truth 4 years ago 10
Buchanan probably doesn't want to piss off all of his Repub buddies by taking any extreme positions. Actually, no you're right he IS a fucking tool for saying that!
PresidenteCamacho 4 years ago 10
Buchanan displays all the trademark signs of a political coward... come to think of it, so did his campaign for the presidency way back when.
TeddyLeper 4 years ago 4
As a TV political commentator Pat is asked to present an unbiased political point of view. To endorse any candidate would create doubt in his objectivity. Do you see Wolf Blitzer endorsing anyone? No and you won't.
To me, this non endorsement was one hell of an endorsement!
gsuitter 4 years ago 3
Actually, Buchanan says "I haven't endorsed him."
lancesorbenson 4 years ago
He can't endorse anyone as a political analysis.
And he can't appear biased, either.
He clearly likes Paul.
