  • gd practice mate.

  • lauched these chunks of wood out with me catapult. lol

  • Comment removed

  • would you recommend buying one for under £200?

  • @liverpool1sgreat £200 will get you a great secondhand outfit but if you want new i would go for something around the £300 mark :)

  • @ARCEYE78 no its definatly in mint condition

  • its not that loud is it?

  • @liverpool1sgreat unfortunaltley gas rams and spring recoiling rifles / pistols are inherently loud from the piston slamming on fireing, the silencer does help a great deal in helping to reduce the noise from the muzzle and directing it away from your target but nothing can be done about the mechanical noise....well nothing practical anyways :)

  • @ARCEYE78 thanks!

  • very nice, i have my rifle but i only can dream of shooting it at the time.:(

strange that second target whas at 50yards and you had to aim lower.

  • im sure you'll get it sorted soon mate even if you have to get permission to target shoot on someone's land as for the second shot i can only put it down to the way i was holding the rifle as you know technically i should hold over the further out although there are two zeroed points of range so maybe that could be it?its been a long time since i looked at this vid LOL!! not long after getting my fenman X) when the weather picks up i'll do another multi range vid &check out the second shot issue

  • the main issue with scope cam is not being able to hold the rifle in proper form as i have missed some big shots out hunting from using the scope cam that i would not normally miss using the artillary hold which is very annoying,i may mount my next cam above the scope like i did in my hunt vid pt3 prob is it does not look as good without the crosshairs on vid:) do you know any farmers that may give you permission to shoot targets on a quiet patch of land? if not it could be worth asking a few.

  • i could do that, there is loads of land 300m of my home, i will give it a try as it is free and outside i can practice range finding and things like that.hope it works.

as with your cam problem, you better make or buy a mount to mount you cam above your scope.its not so hard to make.

  • yeah i will do that as im a welder and fabricator so im lucky to have all the tools and most equipment needed, i never buy stuff like that unless its cheeper to do such,i made a great scope cam mount but although its made well it still requires an awkward hold, im gonna make one for my practical shotgun shooting also but it will need some form of shock absorber to widthstand the high recoil, that will make some good watching :)

    good luck with the permission

  • if you can make something with springs or plastic to absorb the recoil, what type of mount will you make for the shotgun maybe i can make something(drawing) if you tell my what type of shotgun you have.

    i have some ideas.

  • Very, very nice. What pellets?

  • Lol ace job i might try a scope cam when i do my next shooting vid gr8 vid thoe bud! Have a look at my vid please. Well done :)

  • Thanks Bruce scope cam is great but does make shooting very awkward as you cannot shoulder the rifle so im gonna make a mount for above the scope for hunting:)

  • 1:30 on his first shot sounds like he cummed. nice shooting though

  • Yep my shot was very satisfying but not that satisfying lol :)

  • good targets to shoot are plaster of paris discs, pour the plaster of paris in milk bottle tops, let em set then shoot em up they splatter pretty good.

  • good idea bet that stuff is cheap too :)

  • people dont realise how hard it is to aim with a scope cam nice job

  • So true and this was when the cam was held on with a bog roll tubeLOL!! a royal pain in the arse:)

  • Very good idea.

  • thanks mate....it was nice when i could hit what i was aiming at LOL!!

  • i wish i had a view like that from my house lol, you have the best place to target practise with lol :D i have a small back garden and nothing really comes onto it as we have 4 cats so as soon as they do the cats usually get em first :( nice shooting though 5 stars !!!! gunna get a scope for my air rifle this saturday, cant wait lol :D

  • yes im very lucky to live here its so peacefull, when you get your scope why dont you join a HFT shooting club as there are loads btw thanks for the comment :)

  • good vid mate.. and i knowhow hard this is myself.. wind judgement can be a good tool in the field

  • thanks mate i must admit i havn't been shooting for a while im gonna catch up this weekend and hopefully do some more vids :)

  • how many grams r the pellets u use? cos my .22 12ft puts pellets downrange very slowly with 1.03 grams

  • and they drop alot

  • this comment may repeat?? myA/Armsdiabolo field weigh 1.037g they work well but are a little fragile, the best i have used so far are H&Nfield target trophy they dont state weight but i think they are a little heavier, im not sure about the downrange speed but that usually depends on the shape of pellet and weight technically a lighter pellet will get there quicker but will retain less energy on impact also make sure you use dome heads as they offer the least wind resistance-

  • and a heavier pellet will travel a little slower but will retain more energy on impact, try getting yourself some sample packs of pellets at different weights and just experiment at a set range at which you normally shoot,im still trying to find the best pellets for my rifle the next ones i want to try are JSB EXACTS as they have had many good things said about them but like the A/ARMSdiabolo they are not cheap at over £10per 500 but u get what u pay for, hope that helps:)

  • at 15 yards you can differentiate between shot and pellet hitnnting target as it takes an age to get there

  • i think it needs a new spring

  • i havnt been hunting for the last week and wont be next week either mate.. gutted aswell because i want to get the tx out and have ago but ive got to much on! look forward to your other vids. atb

  • I see you talking a lot.. ;) nice vid, good you hit at the finish on and on.. I'll wait for more your vids..

...maybe you will buy pcp airgun someday.. ;)

    5 and greets!

  • R8 mate, just found dis vid on scope cams, ill post it as a video response.

    Hope it helps ya lad:-)

ps, nice shooting, luv the commentary.

pps, The lad that made da vid is a bird watcher so don't do wot i did un tell him that its going on a rifle.lol;-)

  • MMM i'll bare that in mind LOL but i do have a evil streak:)HA HAAAAAA!!!

  • if you shoot into dirt or do what i do and shoot into some sand that you can find at the hardware store.

  • sorry i don't understand what you mean please explain??:)

  • oh yeah, sorry. you said its har to see where the poi is (point of impact), or where the pellet is hitting. if you find a good spot to put some dry sand down you will be able to see very easily.

  • Being an airgunner i found that fun to watch. i do that with my 97k aswell but i use paintballs or bits of carrot. they explode on impact :). im making a vid of myself scopecam shooting. hopefully i will get it up soon. i also tried using toilet role to mount the camera but it didnt work 4 me so i just held it. problem with mounting a camera to a springer or gas ram airgun is the recoil can damage the camera.

    nice shooting btw.

  • yeah i have to admit the recoil is high but so far the cam is ok what type of cam have you got if you have a protruding lense turret you should be able to mount it with a tube have a look at cubleycats channel she has a great vid on mounting a cam if yours is flat fronted like mine then a superbodge is required it was a pain in the arse to get right but it does the job and vibration can be reduced by using rubber foam between cam and mount, glad you liked the vid look forward to seeing yours:)

  • unfortunately im using a small digital camera (finepix f100 fd) so i cant mount it like cubleycat. i'll have a go with making my own camera mounting device so i can make better quality vids. it will be nice to get a few more springer scope cam vids up on u tube as most of them are by pcp owners.

  • yeah pcp seems to be the thing now i used to have a daystate harrier x and i did NOT like it as it was so quiet could almost be described as silent and had no recoil and had magazine loading issues,it was like a toy -a gun with no soul:(although admittedly it was amazingly accurate far more than a springer or gas ram just not as satisfying to shoot as my fenman gotta love that recoil :)

  • yeah exactly, you thing just like me lol. i had a go with a s410 at my club a few weeks ago and i found so boring to shoot. i didnt play any part in making that thing accurate. well i'd have to say that spring or gas rammers are just as accurate as pcp's, but obviously a lot harder to shoot, and yeah i love the sound and recoil too.

  • great vid dude.. ;)

  • cheers mate i'm learning how to edit now so hopefully they'll be even better as i have lots of idea's for shooting vids.

  • nice video, very good for a first.

I enjoyed that with the commentary.

Do try and keep the camera looking trough the scope.

  • thanks for rating im looking into a different set up soon and better pellets im thinking JSB exacts, more powerful scope and getting the rifle tuned for optimum accuracy then its just down to me:)
