I am a Malay,and I would still say that in particular to this case, justice has not been given to the Indian communities as their concerns which was voiced by YB Sothinathan was not being addressed, but was rather dismissed. Shame.
BN's policy seems more like to aim to safeguard their MPs and Ministers, rather than aiming to faithfully and truthfully serve the country with effective policies and decisions.
BN's policies in general are discouraging a healthy maturity of Malaysia's Parliament. If the Cabinet are confident with their stand, then they should not be scared to be challenged. They should even take YB Sothinathan's point as a constructive criticism, of which the govt needs to avoid repeating in the future.
YB Sothinathan had a valid point but yet he was being disciplined becoz he was not supporting the government. Ironically, a Member of Parliament elected by the rakyat does not have the right to democratically voice his opinion in this democratic country. I shall not call it a good democracy.

Actually it was kinda wrong for him to bring it up in the Dewan itself. Having said that I feel that it was his DUTY to bring the issue up in the cabinet meeting (he is a deputy minister after all). Criticising your own team in front of ur opponents is not good teamwork.

I cannot believe that he was suspended for just making a justifications of what is important for the poor students who were studying at CSMU and they are Malaysians. The goverment just don't even care about this students future. Shame on the Malaysian goverment or should I called Malay goverment.

BN's policies in general are discouraging a healthy maturity of Malaysia's Parliament. If the Cabinet are confident with their stand, then they should not be scared to be challenged. They should even take YB Sothinathan's point as a constructive criticism, of which the govt needs to avoid repeating in the future.
