New to Mindy Smithactually found her Holiday album on Rhapsody.wow, shes unbelievable and mesmerizing. Country? Christian Music? Doesnt matter.shes something else and Im completely hooked. Got my 11 and 8 year old daughters hooked as well as my wife.  Cant wait and hope shell get to the Northwest US for a tour. Ill go see her in a heartbeat.

I have thought Mindy was going to be the next coming of Loretta Lynn for several years-- and it is slowly starting to happen.... In ten years you will be proud you had even heard of her by now. There is a reason Dolly discovered her. Because Dolly is her own industry. But Mindy is her own property.

It really is, she sings "Raggedy Ann", not an easy Mindy Smith song to sing, and sings it a cappella! For a 14 year old, her sense of timing and voice control is astonishing, real promise there!
