  • great tune

  • 1987? Jesus Christ it sounds like it was made yesterday, It sounds so modern. way ahead of their time!

  • @sueplexify Yes, I agree, it still sounds so damn good...takes me back to my clubbing days in NYC in the 80's....

  • Classic old school :) nice one !!

    peace out.

  • Yep love it! It's soon to be re-released and i've just heard Tyree Cooper's new Remix... Tis Class! l)

  • chooooooon

  • 38 years old and feels so right ,even now....I wish we could teach this

  • so disappointing the music these days there are no movements for the kids also, when we grew up there was ska punk new wave etc then rave/dance/club culture, now its BGT. my 18 yo daughter thinks its hilarious that we are going to Sankeys in manchester for my mates 40th, but I cant get her to look at the culture and history of even our time, if only she knew or cared about the times we had from 88 -96, the excitement of getting on the train and heading to join the queue at the hacienda......

  • @MrChubbyness the love, the unity... it's a memory that we at least can keep alive...

  • @6robski8 agreed....really did have some great great times at clubs all over the north during that period, it seemed like it was a secret between like-minded people, unfortunately became too mainstream and money orientated but hey, that's progress and it was inevitable. Thanks for your uploads they are very important and there are lots of youngsters jealous of our times so all is not lost and hopefully they'll share the knowledge!!

  • @MrChubbyness so true its painful.. there is no personal development anymore. it sad and the arrogance of insecurity is a bit too much to handle these days.. t

  • @MrChubbyness it will hit her when she gets older!!... and it's gonna hit hard!! sorry to say!! ..

  • @MrChubbyness i'm from blackburn...when i hear these tunes i go off to another time and place...i still think that we had a cultural revolution that equaled the flower power movement.....just wish high on hope get the film of the partys sorted asap

  • @milton1969able Yes it was a revolution and a revelation, although I fuckin cant stand the hippie movement, that was based on a load of posh kids living in shit saying Yeah Man! I'm sure in the future when the pages of history are written this WILL be recognised as such and fuck me we had some good times!

  • Of course! thee classic!

  • At work locked in my office working.

So I thought I would spend the time going through 6robski8's tunes playing in the back ground. This classic still makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up.

Reading some of the comments makes me feel that all of us that were out and about in the clubs/fields/house's/bedrooms at this moment in time were so so lucky.

Thank god i'm not 20 now.

God bless all of you who were there.

  • joy tear shed

  • Much better than the PetShop boys version!

  • still gives me goose bumps and a big smile :)

  • TOP TRACK! I had to buy the album to get this track back in 1988/9 although the original version came out in 1987. I think the original is purer than this version, which is still good. Still have it, still play it loud on my decks along with other chicago classics.

  • How honoured we should all be to have been born in time for this generation. it only took me 10 years to get some what sensible . this part of my life gave me so much for what was ahead of me. I am so grateful for all the times I had with complete strangers who i wouldn't know if they passed me in street today. the memories keep flooding back

  • This comment just made my day, as so many of the comments do. It sums up the whole reason I started this channel. I'm happy to have helped and even happier that you then went out and bought it.... It sucha good tune, timeless as it was 15 years ago as it was when we all heard it for the first time. Now turn it up loud... you're neighbours will want to hear it too..
