My friends and I did get a chance to see Al Green in Atl. on Wed. 06/10/09.

We were indeed "Thoroughly" entertained.

His 2 daughters and his backup singers sung "Beautifully" - the band was kicking too! We were in the EE orchestra section.

I was waving, waving, waving especially towards the end. Al Green was waving too.

I'm that NY'er mentioned earlier, 1974; 15 years old- back then.

I just saw him in Detroit for the BB King blues fest. Wow is certainly an accurate description. He can dance good too! Amazing show, even more amazing showman. Very accurate with those roses, he put one right in the hands of a woman standing a good 30 feet from the stage.
