Yes, certainly. The 50lb limbs are the max poundage but you can always turn it down.

damn, for that much you can buy a bowtech, mathews, or Hoyt.

However, I have shot alot of the newer bows this year, and this bow wasn't bad. I prefer my Bowtech Captain, but many people have different feelings when they shoot a bow. To each his own.
