Thanks, Christ0111790, for sharing this. I've been fascinated by the lyrics since coming across them some years ago and I've always wanted to hear the hymn being sung. I really love your version because your diction is clear and your singing pleasant and unpretentious. Moreover, the recording is good. Thank you for really bringing out the meaning of the lyrics so well. GBU, Jeremy
I actually sang this song for the first time last weekend, when I visited the Church in Cardiff. I had a wonderful time, and I'm trying hard to get into college there. And just today I found out that I beat the odds, and am one of only 25 students to receive an offer for it. Praise the Lord!
Haha I came across this video, while researching whether or not I want to get a Blue Yeti microphone- My decision is Yes, and Great video! Keep it up!
Bro. can i make a request? Can you please play and sing Hymn # 339??? When I'm at work, I love listening to hymns and spiritual songs and hymn 339 is one of my favorites. I hope you have time...
Truly true this song! Very interesting how things work out! Even the Lord had to suffer, die in order for us to be regenerated and live with His divine life! ls like our God had set things in this pattern "sun and rain, joy and sorrow, peace and pain,.etc but certainly there is a reason for things to be such a way....maybe the Lord wants us to see His excellency and how great is He after we have tasted other things..maybe...not sure yet.:)
finally.. no one could answer me if this guitar si good for strumming too.. some people suggested it would not be good for strumming since it had a fingerstyle-syle body shappe... but you seem to like it strummed... right?
Thanks for posting this. We found this poem/hymn in my Grandmother's handwriting after she passed away, but I had no idea it was a song or how it went. It has great lyrics and you play it well.

really great work, but I have also a blue yeti mic and you shouldn't put hem straight to you instrument. You have to put him vertical on it.

@BlackBalloonGraz I'm happy with my RCCE after I had it professionally setup. The dual-pickup system is really nice.
