  • "toughest and most dangerous prisoners in the country..." huh? dangerous? if they were dangerous why is anna in there with them?

  • Michael Jackson even brings the best out of those convicts. Is that magic or what??

  • htp:// panalo.com.ph

  • 5555

  • they are more organized than our government.

  • Converse

  • Wow, look only in the philippines with 1400 inmates with crazy background. and few police to manage them and then you put that blonde girl infront of all of them lol.... talk about trust with the inmates.

  • Our corrupt government officials should so do this. That would be a hoot!

  • they r famous now..cebu bisdak kayung daku!

  • @jojo11223able- you read my mind. while they're at it, it would be nice if those being found guilty now of corruption in government join the Ampatuans too. HAHAHAHA

  • ●▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬●

    ☆☆☆ ARMY OF ❤Լ.Ơ.Ɣ.Є❤⑦⑦⑦ ☆...

  • Of course if they would try this in other countries, it wouldn't work cuz everyone only thinks about themselves. "Survival of the fittest" is what everyone else thinks when they are in prison. It's a shame too. These guys actually have a chance for getting out of prison once their sentence is over. No fear of not getting to live to see that day.

  • for all i know the warden just made them do it. when a gaurd looks outside one day and sees the prisoners doing this by thier own, then ill beleave it.

  • @bostonianful OK, so even if the warden "made them do it", it certainly has changed the way the prisoners behave in prison. As he said, "We don't want to go back to the old way of gangs and violence in prison." I give him credit and I think this should be used in prisons all over the world. No one is saying they are innocent. They are criminals and some violent ones at that. But if this "forced" dancing makes for a better prison system, what is the harm?

  • it just simply imply that not all persons in jail are too bad they may commit mistakes in past but atleast their trying to be a better person now :)

  • Garcia is a very wise man

  • Philippines filled with gays.. and they doesn't look like a criminals anyway.

  • I know if MJ is still alive, he will go and visit these inmates and dance with them..he loved everyone because he has a big heart

  • They get to wear black Chucks! :D

  • who'd bleieve they were inmates...? they look free

  • I didn't know they were in CNN...XD

  • ahahhahahahahhah.... i agree with u jonbal...id love to see the ampatuan dancing near in death

  • i'm pretty sure their bad intentions will override those. and besides, i know how the prisons are in the philippines, there isn't always a fight every now and then. it's filipino nature: many people may act like a punk towards you, but they don't mean anything serious. well, most people.

  • I think Byron has done a good job. He should be hired to rehabilitate corrupt government officials throughout the world in this facility and let them dance and entertain the world.

  • that would be awesome

  • @rontubo that reminds me of the videos of hilter doing the hustle

  • @rontubo i want to see GMA, Mike Arroyo, Garci, Ampatuans, Joc Joc dancing inside the Cebu Rehabilitation. Their future dance performance should be a hitter on youtube...

  • @jonbal2001 LOL!!!!

  • gling tlga ... hanep...sus ginoooooooooh

  • PEACE!

  • filipinos rock i love filipinos there are my idol woooooooooooo

  • wow, english speaking Filipino inmates! im proud of you!!! hahaha

  • One of great part of inmates rehabilitation program the 4th pillar of Philippine Criminal Justice System.

  • kamu na lay mag pinoy! labi na ang mga bisaya! PROUD TO BE PINOY!

  • P.P.S.

Oh yes, this essay-like post is for those who ask for an "informed" reaction as a response to their personal opinion. I saw Claude's comment about that somewhere here. I'm just glad Warden Byron pursued this motivated by God-centered values and actually believed this kind of turn-around can happen.

    God bless!

  • @colossaleyes What? No Atheist-centered values? You shame your fellow anal rapists!

  • @ClaudeParish

Oh...this post escaped my attention. To reply, I am female, sir. I have no bodily appendages to rape anuses. May God bless and protect yours.

  • @colossaleyes

I take my hat off to you.

  • ... so, beyond the amusement we get from their YT dance posts, lets pray for them and their families. Maybe after these dance routines for their rehab, they can find other productive ways within prison, but this is an awesome start.

P.S. Why MJ? Check out their ages;they grew up in the MJ era. And wasn't there recent evidence that MJ was wrongly accused by the dad (who became estranged from his son and recently committed suicide) for money? Shows us, even the high and mighty can be a victim.

  • ...I thought, as did my other close-minded friends, what a pitiful way to catch attention on YT. But we were wrong, turns out these prisoners love what they do. It has given them a chance to break away from drugs, wars and corruption in jail--life. It has allowed them to be friends with one another and uplift one another beyond the dance exercises. Warden Byron prayed for a Christian way out to help these prisoners in their rehab. Now, the values of Christianity live within these prison walls.

  • ...as a result of their popularity and the recognition of many around the world of how they seem happy and changed and all the other praisesg and slap on the back they are getting, these guys feel that they can be a productive and contributing part of society. Their children are not as ashamed of them...some have become proud. Many of them moved in dangerous communities outside prison, which perhaps prompted many to commit crimes. When I first saw their Algorithm dance on YouTube I thought..

  • ...and many Filipinos know we are a people who love music and dance. Not all can sing. Not all can dance well, but as synchronized unit, the "dance" looked awesome, not only because they moved pretty well but also because there was a lot of discipline, cooperation and teamwork behind it - things not present during their gang war days. They didn't know the warden was going to post this on the internet in an attempt to let them somehow interact with the rest of the world even from prison.

  • this is so nice..they can help them make us proud of our country even though they are convicted.i salute you guys..

  • even filipino inmates are very good in THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE...FILIPINOS ARE THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD..IM PROUD TO BE ONE...

  • To all those people who criticize these amazing work of art in motion which we call "Dancing", I personnally think that you guys are jealous because ot the fact that you don't know how to dance!

  • wow! kamukha ni ampatuan ung michael jackson na inmate. im happy to see ampatuan dancing with them!!! hehehe!!!!

  • @jojo11223able id love to see ampatuan dance while being fired by bullets.. that is more cool..

  • @jonbal2001 LOL ME TOO!!

  • i love it that way jonbal put him on the middle, give to the prison and the prison know what to do for him!

  • if nothing happen in that case , i would say philippines is not a safe country anymore.and i blame that to the government official.

  • ahahaha!! Agree.. killing them slowly means a lot to those relatives of those who got their love one's killed in that massacre specially that pregnant woman.. f*ck'n ampatuans!! burn in hell.. i'll assasinate ur children along with ur stupid people.. stupid clan u have.. let see what u feel when ur sons and daughters are the ones being raped and killed..

  • @bugswak

you don't seem to be any better than them... you blame them but you say you will do the same mistakes they did...

  • @2poi7bounce1uni that's punishment u don't know much about our country and people around it because of politics. some strong people in far lands in the Philippines kill to win even massacre a whole family or even a small town. Ampatuan's just killed more than a hundred people at the start of their reign and they are so corrupt they even got their own artillery of high powered weapons that could support a battalio.

  • @2poi7bounce1uni u don't know much because u are not here in this very City that is close to theirs. if u want to learn about their story search it in google or in yahoo.

  • HOLD UP... In what sense do you think Pinas' has better criminals than the U.S.? You have no idea about the criminals here. If their minds are right they help the gov. program the fucken pawns who want to be programmed as the pieces in their jail society. Even in the jails! Over there the fucks are stuck or they come out paying no contribution to anything unless they come here. (the smart ones) And im half bisaya' half afro-cuban, and french. But the PI is getting G'd up also

  • dangerous place

  • 1:10 hahaha

  • i gues its easy to moblise the philippines to dance and other things

  • Niggas is wearing Chuck Taylors?

  • Comment removed

  • frostedhead:

    Yo!

Yup! Chuckies dude! Not until somebody pointed out here in YT why were they wearing flip-flops when dancing the (original upload of) Thriller. I think it was a donation or something or the prison admin got them chuckies as prison footwear.

LOL! that -3 you got is just a reaction to your niggahs comment, just them folks who don't know its just a greeting. Hehehe, didn't mind that when i read your post dude! Peace! :D

  • very nice....love the tribute to the King of Pop...mj .....Maayo kaayo mo mga Dancers.......Grabe........hehehehee love your move.......great job no trouble........all Peace....Godbless

  • i love how all of them got converse on lol

  • Long Live The King

Love & Peace to you all, from Canada

  • claude parish if i knew who u wer id kick ur ass

    show some respect

  • Yeah! That would teach me to see your point of view. I'm here in the USA, Louisiana. Want more? Just ask. I await your boot, assboy!

  • fine then ill find u n kick ur ass

  • You coming? I have an appointment this afternoon and I need to slap some sanity into you and get on with it.

  • michael jackson over dosed on zanax 10 pills a night he probably couldn't walk lol

  • LOL! IM SO SCARED RIGHT NOW..

  • I can say what I want about someone who's been judged. I'm not a criminal. You siding with them says more about you than you might want others to know.

  • You really are a dense person. Thank God Filipinos are more open-minded than you are.

People like you are the reason why MJ was ridiculed before his death.

  • :D Thank for saying that, we filipinos are more open minded :']

  • @babysam16 Hold up... again. Before you say WE I hope you mean the 2 of you. Because everyone from every ethnicity is open minded and some are not open minded. I hate it when any nationality/ethnicity is TOOO' prideful thus contradicting themselves IE: being open minded...

  • Just to make you well aware, Michael Jackson was aquitted from the accusations placed upon him. It was discovered that the child was being coached of what to say. The was little to no evidence of any of the accusations upon Michael.

Both of the first and second trials against Michael was dropped.

It's easier to just believe what one wants about MJ because he looked like a freak, but isn't it sad that people still continue to bash him for things that couldn't be proven true?

  • through your words, YOU ARE A CRIMINAL TO EVERYONE

  • I think the great motivation here is that the warden had to think of ways to stop the violent gang wars that erupted at least once a week in this high-security prison. Because people's time were not as occupied as when they started these dance exercises, there was a lot of gambling, drug-dealing and violence inside the prison gates. Aside from getting rid of the allegedly corrupt prison guards, the Warden had to think of a way to make these prisoners lives purposeful even within the cells,

  • the only thing that you cannot take away from man is his capacity to hope. it's just there!

  • Putang ina ka Claude Parish kiki mo! Tanig ina ka!

  • This idiot doesn't even know the spelling and what he is saying. Ang bobo mo, talaga.. Besides we have better criminals than yours in Guantanamo!! Hahahaha. Bye bobo!!!

    XD-ikaw to' nababaliw nang sinuntok.

  • I agree with gumdrops, it doesn't mean that just because they are prisoners they can't look up to someone like MJ. He is the BEST IN THE WORLD!and who doesn't acknowledge that??!!??everyone loves michael jackson!

i'm sure if michael jackson ever saw this videos, he will be happy about this...i hope he did..

  • Good job inmates. I feel for you. Love you MJ. RIP

  • Murderers, rapists, thieves......."admired" him?

Killed people. Raped women. Stole. And they are admirers. That's just.........odd to me. RIPMJ

  • Just because they committed a crime doesn't mean they can't look up to someone. They're still people

  • and it is also ODD to me that you think that being prisoners means deprived of their will to ADMIRE an icon like MJ..

being a prisoner does not mean they can't look up to someone else..

i think you're to judgmental about prisoners..

i hope none of your kindred will become like them..

  • So agreed... Just because they're prisoners, they can't have an idol like MJ? Well newsflash: they may be prisoners, but they are still human beings too.... GET IT!

  • wonder if michael ever saw these videos before...i'm sure he loved it!!

  • this is one of the better prisons in the philippines. Needless to say, most of the prisons here in the philippines are substandard with very poor living conditions.

  • proud to be pinoy!!!!!!♥♥♥

  • I understand why the reporter put an emphasis on the "some of the toughest and most dangerous prisoners of the country." It's a way to make the news sounds sensational. But to the truth is, most of them are petty crimes or drug-related which mostly were poverty driven. Nevertheless, the idea of making the inmates dance is indeed outstanding! Only in the Philippines!

  • great performance:) this help to boost their self esteem despite their bad past experiences. a good way to cope with the problems! congrats philippines! rip to mj.... phils loved u!

  • Love it!!

  • Slovakian flag is upside down ...

  • On behalf of the Filipino people, I apologize for that mistake. Maybe whoever was holding your flag didn't know how your flag really looks like.

  • excuse me, you're wrong. The inmate was holding the Philippine flag correclty.

  • im so proud that im a filipino because its where big talents come from like Charice and it helps violence to keep out :D

  • Well, you can have Michael Jackson, if you want him. Big talents? Name ten!

  • I mean u just dont KNOW how life is in the philippines.

  • All detention facilities in the world should have dance lessons/exercises too. ;-) It encourages teamwork, coordination, and grace! All those endorphins would also make detainees a little happier maybe. ;-)

  • If it helps keep the violence down, it doesn't hurt to dance! Dance produces endorphins.

  • they did better than those clowns from bet awards

  • Doesn't anybody realize that they get tortured to do this shit!

  • watch the documentary, it's a new rehabilitation method and it's working well. they are forced to begin with but they eventually catch on. keeps them busy better than letting them lounge around and create cell groups that kill each other in the field

  • Even if the warden went harsh to them , at least this one really works for their own benefit.

A lot of other prisons keep torturing their prisoners to the point of treating them like dangerous wild animals than human beings.

    The end justifies the means.

  • umm no they do it for conjugal rights gets ur facts straight.

  • elkymbo:

Its like voluntary thing with the inmates, they decide if they want to join or not, not coerced, not forced nor tortured!

You have a run-away imagination there! LOL! Peace! :D

  • hey elkymbo you just don't know how to dance ha ha ah!

  • good job guys, more , videos please!!

  • spending most of my youth in jall, all i see is fallen gangsters tat forgotten thier pride and honour, most likely their balls too. for me i always believe volience adds more spice inside those fucking walls.

  • and dancing too

  • and fucking ur mother too lol.

  • Comment removed

  • WOW!!! Wish all uf ape this and make the inmates better citizens once they are out of the prison.

  • Not that I'm saying that Filipinos have no Pride, Filipinos have a lot of it as any culture should. This video is the core sample of Filipino capacity to work together as a team. (People Power 1? 2? 3? 4?....100?)

That is the culture... Western inmate culture is different... There is no getting along... It's every man for himself or be part of the strongest group to survive.

  • Why don't they use their capacity to work together as a team and get rid of these disgusting criminals? You say 'pride' and I read it as 'shame'.

  • People see thing differently than others do. Not everyone is the same. Every individual makes a choice that either makes little difference to the world or of great significance.

It's true you have every right to say whatever you want, as it is the right of every man, woman and child to speak out. Although it's ideal that you should be able to speak without consequence, but that is not how everyone see it to be.

The right is to speak out is a priviledge earned by respect and responsibility.

  • So, I should respect convicted criminals? Your position is pretty shaky, there.

  • You should respect the way people choose to handle their own affairs, that's all I'm saying.

I mean they aren't hurting anyone, not anymore at least, and at least they are giving back to the community through dance.

These criminals are being made to take a more productive role in their society at which they would never had an opportunity otherwise.

I'm not forcing you to respect the criminals, but don't you think it's a good thing that the wardens of the prison is helping them rehabilitate.

  • They may never erase their crimes, but if dancing helped them change for the better and some where in the future they actually do something good for the community. Isn't that be a good thing?

Plus I'm sure you were refering to when I said,

"The right is to speak out is a priviledge earned by respect and responsibility."

What I meant by that is if one was to speak out disrespectfully and irresponsibly, Those offended won't lend an ear and therefore you're never heard and refused of that right

  • There isn't anything good about what they've done in the past and nothing can change that. That is a stain on their backs that will be there for the rest of their lives. Filipinos as well are strong followers of God and every life is sacred. If they can save a life of people who's lost themselves to the way of a criminal and rehabilitate them, that is just as great as saving lives from being lost by criminals.

Maybe you dont understand how Filipinos choose to do things, but that is their way.

  • you are disgusting, not them! LOL.

you don't even give respect to your fellow human beings. even though they're criminals but still, each and everyone on earth deserves to be respected as people of God. You just don't how life is in the philippines.

I'm afraid you'll be in hell than these criminals.

  • oh wow! that is so demonic! chill man chill!

  • LoL!

Normally when you tell someone, who you just upset by calling him a criminal to, "chill out" that would have the opposite effect.

Everyone is just giving their own opinions. Maybe Claude has a valid reason for hating criminals to such an extent. Maybe someone did him very wrong.

    But who knows right? ^___^

Billions of people = Billion possible interactions and therefore = Billions of different sides to a story

  • Maybe Claude got anal fucked by a 15 inches dicked criminal.

  • Wow :D this is some old ass comment from long time ago ahaha,

CriticalArtBlock is also me if you're wondering.

But probably -____^ Probably Claude did get anally probed, but who knows LoL

  • @faintsmile79 Why do you have to go there? That really uplifts your argument and lets me know what is really on your mind and in your behind.

  • hey u Claude Parish I would say "shame" on you, you just dunno how to dance LOL!!!

  • @mcr4leads Like most MEN, I don't see the need to dance. Only someone with and imbalance, mental or physical, has an excuse to move like a baboon on crack with Parkinson's disease.

  • @mcr4leads Nor do I wish to.

  • Seriously mate... you shouldn't be bad mouthing other people if you don't want others to bad mouth you and your people...

You will never see this in type of interaction with other country people because of the macho factor or (Pride). Filipinos are very good at making the best with what they have which is why they can dance and cooperate. Nakikisama silang lahat.

You probably won`t see this in other country prisons because if they submit to Dancing they will think they have lost their Pride.

  • it is (shudders). I don't know why u got all those thumbs down. Those ppl must suffer from poor vision.
