@russianfighter92 I actually bought the underdrive pulley from Stillen when it was on sale. The Hot Shot Headers I bought directly from Hot Shot right before they went out of business and got a killer deal on them...I paid $300 with shipping included.

@samkrame You're right...the nearly foot long crimp in the restrictive stock exhaust is better. I think about that all the time when all the stock guys wonder why they can't keep up with me.

Also, how can you compare an inline 4 banger Civic exhaust to this custom-fabricated Magnaflow one? If you think this exhaust sounds like a riced out Civic, you need to clean your ears out.

@dsm2xtreme Not a huge difference. More of a subtle difference but it was across the entire powerband. The car revs easier though because it has less mass/weight to overcome on the crank.

What is the best nag for buck HP increase for these? I have an 02 Auto with 3.5. I dont want to blow it up just give it a bit more pep without ruining the tranny. Does anyone here know what Nissan did in 2003 that added like 5 horsepower to the 3.5?

The best 'Bang for the Buck' part according to the research I've done would be the headers. I don't know who still makes headers with Hotshot out of business now. I know there was the cheap OBX brand on e-Bay. In any case, you're looking at around 10 - 15 to the wheels depending on any other mods you may have done.

What kind of gains when you installed the Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley?

Not much...but it did weigh a whole lot less. It wasn't so much peak power as it was a little bit across the entire powerband. The car revs a little easier now that it's not trying to overcome more mass. Even better bet would be the lightweight flywheel...coming soon :)

True, I do wish the car were rwd but in its defense it is a V6 and actually has 2 banks of cylinders unlike an I4. I don't understand why the '07+ 4 cylinder Altimas have a dual exhaust system.

I think they use the came catback as the 3.5 now. GAY if you ask me. The all the new inline 4 cars, wrx, lancer, etc are all dual exhaust setups. Uneeded weight on a smallish car.

hey did your exhaust just clamp on or did you need any welding?

The exhaust was custom fabbed so yes there was some welding involved by the fabricator. Mostly the long pipe after thecat to the y-pipe and the pipes going from the y to each muffler.

I like the way it sounds now. When it was just the intake, headers, and exhaust the car was much more raspy,not just at the top end. I had a resonator put in to quiet it down a bit.
