Somehow, this song always brings tears to my eyes. I remember that I had a neighbor who fought in WWII, in the Italian Campaigns, and he once said: "I always hated war, but this was a different one. There is no point of view that is able to give credibility to the nazi concepts." Totally true. IMHO, WWII was the only one in History that we knew which side to support.

this song reminds of well kinda like BOB (band of brothers) i don't know why but the song is heroic sounding, and a bit sad in some parts

i can picture some WW2 American GI helping each other climb some hill, and the sun right behind them, casting a shadow, anonymous soldiers who unknowingly changed the world, however small the change is. Almost like the hill scene in band of brothers, the cover.
