I loved this song growing up. I was a junior in high school at the time and going through depression. But always hearing this on the radio really lifted my spirits. Still to me one of the best songs from the 90s. I had no idea it was a cover of the The Five Stairsteps till I sought out the album about five years ago :)

Don't care how corny the video looks because this version of this song got me through being eighteen. I was scared, emotionally fragile, socially isolated, and struggling to be on my own for the first time and this song back in 1993 gave me something to cling to.

Best version was in the ending of the movie "Over the edge" Starring Matt Dillion when he was like 15 years old, it was his first movie and a classic: ) Great movie! High recommend anyone see it: )
