@GeertSamuel - I'm so pleased my video was helpful to you. I am still using the arm in my home office. I also have the double arm system for another computer I work on. :-D
I'm thinking of getting a 24" Cin.Dis. to mount it on the wall above the bar in the kitchen connected to a hidden mac mini so I can youtube and what not while cooking.
Awesome. I was looking into getting one so I could mount a small LCD in such a manor as to be able to play video games while lying in my bed. Not to pester you, but just to make absolutely sure. If you could confirm that my dream is possible, I would be very grateful.
@sushimaster1 You're not pestering. I think that's a great idea! As long as: (1) your LCD is VESA compliant; and (2) you have a place to mount the arm (like a bedside table or stand), then it should work fine. Lemme know how it turns out.
Hi Tim, thanks for the vid, it makes a big difference seeing it all set up. Question tho, can you mount the clamp in the opposite position? As in, could you clamp it on the front of your desk rather than the back and still have the monitor facing forwards towards you?
Abdo1- Thanks for your kind words. Yes, you could mount the arm the way you describe. (You'd have a pole sticking up in the front of your desk, but that might be better in certain situations.). Good luck!
Thanks for your kind words. I have the LX single arm set up in my home office. I have the dual arm set up in another office. I really like them both! Best of luck with yours ...
This was very helpful. I've been tolerating an uncomfortable monitor position for quite some time now, and I'm quite happy with how this is working.
I sprang for the extra $20 Amazon was asking for the silver model since the mount can be seen from elsewhere. Nonetheless the adapter plate came in black.
Thanks for posting this vid Tim. My 23" ACD is on top of a pile of books now and it's killing my neck and shoulders. Nice to see how this works and really helpful for installing, I'm getting this too :)
Thanks for writing. I find this arm to be VERY stable. It takes a bit of tweaking the screws to adjust the tension, but I am able to position my monitor anywhere, and it stays there ... even overnight.
For me, this is really one of the greatest things since sliced bread! :-)
Thanks! Great video. Decided to get an arm and the apple vesa kit for my cinema display after watching this video.

@rosuhere - Glad the video was helpful. I recently bought a dual-arm set-up for another workspace. I really like both the single and the double-arms.

Great video! One question I notice it rotates left.. most of the instructions show it rotate to the left. Does it rotate counter clockwise?
ncc1701p 2 years ago
@ncc1701p - No. It only seems to rotate clockwise.

does it "Tilt" up AND down? If I wanted to put the monitor really high up and tilt it down, does it tilt 80 degrees down as well?
sushimaster1 2 years ago
Yes ... it has a wide tilt range. You can lower the screen to desktop level and tilt it almost flat, for example. Good luck!

Not too shabby review. I just ordered the LX dual side by side myself. I may do a similar setup/review as you have done. Wish me luck!
