  • The Torah is still legitimate today. Jesus preached against the oral Torah, also known as the Talmud which is what caused people to say he was abolishing the law, however, if you read the Gospel you will see that he held strictly to the Torah and clearly did not consider himself God. If you read the Qur'an you will see that Muhammad also followed the Torah and in the Qur'an people are repeatedly commanded to follow the Torah and Gospel as well as the Qur'an.

  • I have had too many Aliyot to count and it is still an awsome feeling!

  • Man I love Chabad!

  • If Jesus abolished the law, that would obviously make him a liar, as he said he didn't come to abolish the law, but to fulfill, by observing it the way God made it ( such as the Sabbath , etc... ), and teaching it the right way.

  • @12345soccerguy

Please visit my channel and watch the video.

  • regards from Israel

you are invited to my channel too

  • @vouveristo He is reading about one of the sacrifices offered during the holiday of Sukkot. It's in the book of Numbers.

  • This is a nice video, but based on what I heard it can not be Hoshana Rabbah as the reader would have said "k'mishpatam" and not "ka'mishpat." It's one of the other days of Succot.

  • 14/88

  • Of all holy books the Quran recitation is far by the best and sounds wonderful.

  • Please watch, on YOUTUBE, The Real Reason Why People Defend Religion.......Thank You !

  • i dont understand

  • I wish I could hear the entire portion he is reading. I wish I could read like him. His voice and pronunciation is amazing!

  • The Quranic reading is more emoitional and sounds better

  • Go to hell you gay scum!

  • Been called to the bimah many times,.. Good Stuff :))

  • oh my god; I was only joking.

didn't think it REALLY WOULD sound similar!

  • Comment removed

  • Not too bad..any full version?

  • reading the quran sounds more emotional compare to torah.

  • actually becuase theres 2 types of judaism

    ashkenaz and sepharadie

this is ashkenaz and they read it here with almost no tune and with an accent on the other hand most sepharadies are israelis and read it wait a nice tune and melody

  • @miniwrestler10 Sephardim rules!

  • @miniwrestler10 - Not two types of Judaism, mate. That's two prayer traditions, and really there are more. But the Judaism is pretty much the same.

  • why you have to move like a slow person?

  • nt too sure about that but moving your body parts makes u more attentive to what you are reciting. islam has that too, when sufis gather for remembrance of God/Allah

  • can i download your video with your authorization?

  • mashallah subhanalah

  • lmao!!!!!!!

  • Rabbi Levi is so awsome

  • Did you know that Jews do not have follow "oral law"?

  • lol why are they white ?

  • WOW mjay22 get the facts straight u MUST be circumsized if ur a jew where do u think the muslims got it from wow its a MUST if ur not circumsized ur not a jew according to law

  • which of your God is real? and how can any of you prove he's real or better yet have personally search for yourself to see how real he is? three G-d?? are u serious so u are refering to the father the son and the HolyGhost

  • the catholic church forbids circumcision, whereas islam doesn't. unlike judaism, in islam it's strong recommended to be circumcised but not compulsorily. the reason is not to be in convenant with god, but to keep personal hygiene - esp. in prayer where u have to urself keep clean, spritually & physically.

  • * concept of chosen ppl. - i meant to say that there is no chosen race of people in islam, as no white is superior to a black & vice versa, and the same goes for arabs & non-arabs. god judges u by your actions & level of piety towards in the day of judgment in islam.

  • Matthew 5:17 "Do not think I have come to replace the Torah and the teachings of the prophets: I did not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them."

  • This Matthew was right. It is the duty of all Jews to fulfill the laws of the Torah

  • please learn grammar - there are very simple rules aboyt how to read from the Torah and from this few seconds it shows you do not know

  • Now to be honest, Christians aren't Jews, so they only have to follow the 7 Noahide Laws, but the violate the one about idolatry.

  • @gobears1987 I know your comment is from three years ago. But when a you except Yeshua(Jesus) to be your savior you are adopted in to the Jewish family. You probably know that by now since that was a long time ago.

  • @Blueking09991 from wat i know an heard of the jews rejected the prophet yeshua(jesus) an crucified him witout reason becuz fear of some other king who called himself Gods son(although God begets not!) so if u beleive nowwat would be the diffrence between that of a jew christian an muslim?? is it muhammed?

  • @dntjudgeask The death of Yeshua was planned by YHWY because his children needed a ransom to buy us back from the fall of man that happened when Adam and Eve rebelled against God. When that happen Lucifer became the God of this world. Before Yeshua died on the cross no one (except a few who were prophets of YHWY) could go to Heaven because there was nothing covering there sins. People blame the Jews for killing Yeshua, but if they didn't then Satan would have kept being the god of this world

  • @Blueking09991 not really wat i was sayn but wen Adam an Eve were rebelled against God was it satan that whisperd in there ears an from the moment they were banished but satan was never considerd god but an enemy to all mankind. so ur sayin jesus died fo our sins even though it clearly states that he came wit a message to erase our sins john baptized wit water an jesus baptized wit faith both were to erase our sins there was no means of sacrafice from the beginning

  • If Christianity fulfills the Mitzvot, then why do they worship idols and three gods? Why do they not keep the real Sabbath? Let's be honest, Christianity does not even follow the 10 Commandments they post in courts let alone the 613 G-d has commanded we follow.

  • gobears1987, you've made some good points there. in my observation, it seems that the muslims observe the the ten commandments and take the torah more seriously than the christians, especially providing that the islamic concept of god is one and unseen. it seems that the muslims have more things in common with jews than the christians. of course there are differences - esp. the structure of prayer (muslims r actually following ancient jewish prayer) & the concept of chosen ppl.

  • did he say wassiiim

  • I am the only person in my congregation that believes Jesus did not come to abolish the law. I find myself to be the only person in the congregation that tries to follow the Torah and the laws of the old testament to the proper exactness. I wish there were others. Christianity is just a Reformed source of Judaism (almost Judaism 2.0). Was not ruth a gentile but followed earnestly the law of her mother-in-law?

  • I can say I can put myself in Ruth's position. It is better to suffer affliction with the people of God (the Jews) than to enjoy the pleasures of sin and abuse his Son's grace and forsake the laws that he has given us.

  • @msherman212001 the law of Ruth's mother in law, Naomi, is G-d eternal law, the Torah

  • I' learning hebrew right now :)

  • All Jews are obligated to fulfill the Torah's mitzvot. It was true then as now.

  • @mesitampabay and we are obligated to understand that chabad and judaism are separate religions.

ברוך אתה ה' אלוהינו מלך העולם שלא עשני נוצרי ליובאוויטשער

  • shabbath shalom

  • wonderful keep up the good work.

  • That was really great. I really like Hebrew, it is such a pretty language, How long did it take that guy to learn how to sing that portion?

  • Very pretty

  • Did you know that YAHUSHUA (called "Jesus" or Yeshua)Died physically on the passover-day? thus HE became not only our sacrifice-lamb given for our sins but also HIS blood covers our beings ("doorposts" = Hearts and souls) as a sign so that the judgement (angel of death) will "pass-over" us in these end-times! When our former selves die in Him, our new everlasting beings live with him as HE, YAHUSHUA IS LIFE Itself... Amen!

  • The Torah is not a metaphor. The "doorposts" and "passover" are literal terms. Waste your time doing something else.

  • This video rules!

  • Shalom to all of you. Please tell me what portion of Torah he was reading. That is so beautiful. I hope you post more Torah readings like this. Come Moshiach come!

    Tony in Los Angeles

  • I really liked that. I could listen to someone read/sing the Torah all day. It's really pretty
