Verdun, the bloodiest battle that mankind has ever seen, with over 780,000 casualties on both sides Verdun is regarded as one of the most crucial point's of WWI if the French lost here than Great Britan would of been the next target. Thank you for recreating one of the most famous battles ever. The only other famous battle I remember is the Falais Gap in France WWII.

I thought the Battle of Somme was bloodier still?? Over 1,2 million casaulties on both sides. The British army lost 60,000 men just on the opening day on the 1'st of July 1916.

Not to mention Stalingrad in WW2. Probably THE most blody battle ever fought in terms of casaulties.

The Battle of Falaise was NOTHING (only around 60,000 German casaulties) compared to the millions dead on the Eastern Front in WW2. That was where most Germans (and other axis countries) met their demise

@nzigen31 That wasn't a battle that was a mass murder spree by German opposition the Russians did not stand a chance. A battle in my eyes is one where both armies are standing facing each other and then fight each other not massacre an entire city of innocent people.

@nzigen31 Actually most people think of it as a murder more than a battle. I thought Berlin suffered more numbers when Russia attacked Berlin but oddly enough I can not find anything about nor how many POW's we killed while trying to help them.

War die letzten drei Tage nach Verdun gefahren und hab mir ein Bild von dem Schlachtfeld gemacht! U.a. Fort Vaux, Douamount, und einige Zwischenwerke besichtigt! Man muss persönlich dort gewesen sein um das Ausmaß der Zerstöhung zu erkennen!

PS: Musik gefällt mir sehr gut, würd gern wissen wie das heißt.

Das Video hat meiner Meinung nach wenig mit der Realität zu tun. Trotzdem... Nette Idee.
