Possibly the best "grunge or grunge rock album" of the 90s. Pearl Jam's 10 was awesome, but to me it was more of a modern rock album, well written, but commercial. "Facelift" was the absolute blueprint for what a dark, grunge rock album should sound like. I have always loved this band and in particular this freakin' song. RIP Layne Staley. Long live Alice In Chains...
