The white house recently came out and said they don't support SOPA, but I feel it's more of a power play to grab votes. However, the developer has to clear something like that with Paul's people first since it's for his fundraiser. You aren't allowed to use a figureheads name like that, unless he/she authorizes it. Paul is informed on this issue, because if not, it would be fundraiser fraud.

Yeah, there are many. It's been shown many times the things NT has taken from. Dumbing down the game to 30 FPS, showing most of the game is air juggling, constant flip flopping on story, character progression, how to sell the game. Tameem himself said new Dante will glide like Spiderman in an interview as well. The game has a lot going against it, but for some reason the media keeps thinking this is all about hair.

While DmC has elements from other games (for example the chaining world is seen in SMG and Alice Madness return) that does not make it bad. For example you said that this game steals from Inception with the whole world change thing (even if that was only a very little part of Inception)

And that's a big complaint with old fans, they don't want the game to be dumbed down to cater to a casual audience, since the game has always had a niche crowd. Now they're trying to abandon the crowd that brought them this far. I think capcom not deciding if it's a prequel and such, is just a way of not knowing how to sell it to a new audience, while not pissing off the old audience. But it's already too late for that, we've all seen the backlash from the PR.

I think bf3 is way more realistic than mw3, especially as u can use a range of vehicles and it's more dynamic, as u can blast open walls. But surely you should have unpredictable areas, rather than 'training' on the same maps over and over again.

I think it's weird how they didn't make dlc with Demon's souls, because they even left the land of the giants closed which would have been a great new area to explore, but of course they obviously smelled the money with Dark souls being on 2 consoles

Reading the link, it's just the developer of the game who wants to support a certain candidate is using his game as a means for fundraising, which is actually pretty unique. Actually, no, I didn't enjoy Mercenaries. There's a reason Mercenaries 2 dropped their online quick, because people weren't interested after 3 months of the game being out. But the Blackwater game is about painting themselves as heroes, and not like the previous Mercenaries 2, which was more along the lines of just "blow shit up". It's a completely different agenda.
