Balletmaniac-you are very gifted right now!! I cannot imagine how good you will be when you are 20-21. You have gorgeous arm movements/extension & your pointe work will only get better with age (and it's pretty darned good right now!). At 13-14 you are way ahead of the pack. Your teachers/masters must be proud of you & they should be very proud of themselves. Good luck to you!

I like this version, the arabian at my nutcracker is pretty similar to this but its just a solo.

This is spectacular! I was in a production of the Nutcracker, which just ended for another year. In the Arabian piece we only had four dancers, me included, and instead we used a puppet snake about 10-15 feet long. I was the tail. This is amazing. You're very graceful! Great stage presence!

this is probably following tchaikovsky's original score, but i prefer stokowski's arrangement, in fantasia... slower, almost free time, harder to choreograph of course.

I keep coming back to this video. It's one of the few ballet videos posted of someone who is NOT a professional dancer that I've actually enjoyed watching.

Today I returned to watch it again, and I read some of the comments for a bit. You were only 13 in this video? I'm shocked, you looked to be at least in high school. I saw a few technical errors, but goodness, I'm sure you will be able to correct those - if you haven't already. You have a lot of promise.
