this guy must have some balls to have gone outside during a F-3 tornado with a video camera, cause he could have been blown away at any time, especially in his front yard at the point where the tornado was on the ground
geesh....he over does the god word....and SERIOUSLY we know the house is gone and your dog is going no where! but i do feel sorry for those ppl that lost their belongings
I just moved to Granger IA and i go to school at woodward and the kids there talk about this al the time but i didnt think to much about it until now. this was amazing.
Oh my god. I remember watching this on T.V. I was scared for my life. I lived in Dexter Iowa which is a good.....45 minutes away or so...but i was scared.
Absolutely unbelievable, a first hand witness account of a tornado in your own neighborhood. The terror and fright are evident in the photographer. Shaky video is to be expected in such a dire situation.
I feel like I was right there in the middle of it. I lived 11 yrs in OK and was terrified every time it rained. Had to move due to not being able to handle the violent weather.
i forgot how horrible it was til now. it makes me proud of jeremy for reacting the way he did. it makes me thankful to live in a small town with people that actually care.
I worked at the Woodchuck for a couple of years when I was in high school. Totally bizarre how the tornado just left the brick entryway and blew away the rest.
this is totally not meant to make you feel old...but i dont even remember the woodchuck being open. it is unbelievable how those things happen....it blew apart my house but my next door neighbors house was perfectly fine. bummer.
Umm seriously, you need a tripod because your not good at holding the cam very steady and it was hard to watch at times. That said, some good footage was in there.
I was at the ballroom just outside of Woodward when it hit

@bakonfreek I just saw this video on the Weather Channel last night. Unfortunately the man who filmed it died of cancer a year later at only age 31.
