Every time I watch Teddy, I get hungry for corn on the cob!!

We see wild porcupines a lot in our forest here along the river, and one of the four we saw today was a huge blonde porcupine like Teddy! This of course reminded me I desperately needed to watch videos. The cockatoo screaming away in the background of this one also cracks me up- although I reckon it's a good deal less amusing if you're in the same room! And I think my little conure is loud >.< He's got nothin' on a 'too.

I thought that roses were toxic to eat! Guess not, apparently...At least it would seem from this video that they are not toxic for porcupines to eat. I think that roses would still be quite toxic to humans if you tried to eat one! Please clarify about the toxicity of roses to porcupines, and to other animals in general? I know that there are varieties of edible flowers, but I do not think that roses are one of those varieties. Or maybe not, who knows. I still wouldn't allow animals to eat them.

@ScriptorObscura A quick search shows that the only concern about rose petals would be any pesticides used on the plant. Rose petals are often used in salads, jellies, teas, etc., but it's best to use your own so you know what's been applied. A plant-eating animal shouldn't have any digestive concerns,either.
