@TheKamereaminit Hello. Yeah. this is an old video... When I bought that banjo, I was on vacation from my job, so, I had plenty of time to play... I was playing lots of hours per day, so I was able to handle to get on that level in a pretty short period of time. But after that... I continued playing less, after that time, but after that i got back to my guitar studies, and then to piano, violin etc... These days, i barely have time to spend playing anything :-( Thanks for your post!

@Rikk303 Man, that wasn't so hard... I already played classic guitar for lots of years, it helped me a little, but that wasn't so hard... Don't know if you already tried a banjo, but if you try, you'll see that you can do that in a short period of time. When I recorded the video, I was on vacation, so 13 days just playing banjo :)

I have been playing rock and roll guitar for over 40 years. I'm pretty good at finger picking on accoustic. Around 25 years ago I tried open G and double G tuning for slide guitar. If I would have stuck with it I would be kick ass good by now. I don't play at all much anymore but it's guys like you that inspire me. I plan to buy a banjo this week. I have confidence that I can be just as good as you in the same amount of time and of course hope to improve just as rapidly.

I didnt learned every single banjo tech. in 13 days... But i learned how to make a decent play, for a guy which was just playing the banjo for 2 weeks...
