I ate the same bento as you having in the first part of the video, loved it and each time I travel via shinkansen I had to have it lol I did buy it also when I wasn't traveling when I needed some quick meal and was not in the mood to go to restaurants.
The ride was about an hour, maybe a little longer. If I'm remembering correctly, the fare was the equivalent of 70 US dollars, or 7,000+ yen. But obviously the exchange rate has changed since that time.
i think im going to now take japanese airlines..im sure it's a wole lot better than this digusting baked egg that i got on united air lines wich looked like yellow meaatloaf..
