Well it's tool assisted - so the emulation is slowed down so he can do that sick nasty shit. I love TAS's, but yeah, the whole point is to finish the game as quick as possible (duh, speedrun) If you want to see an INSANE speedrun, check out the 100% Items run of Super Metroid. I shat my pants.
It definately looks cool, but tool-assisted gameplay is only good for show. That could never be done in a legit vs. battle. From experience, it is not possible to move much faster than the cpu. switch on 7. If you think about it, the fastest the cursor can move is when you hold down a directional button. It is impossible to keep that speed and change directions as the cursor must move once slowly before holdong the button has an effect.
It isn't a hack, it is tool assisted. Means they use slow down, frame advance, and the ability to rewind to manipulate luck to create the "perfect" run.
It isn't a hack, it isn't a form of cheating in most senses. It is, in theory, possible to do this playing normally but would require super-human reflexes.

Its a hack. I can tell. They had a computer do this. Its set for the computer. If I had a cam I would show yall how to do it step by step. And show yall how good i am myself. There is otherways and cheats on here. one is to make the lil cursor during the game into a triangle and up and down instead of the side to side
Tool assistance? I have no idea what that is. And I noticed the brass part playing the theme at the end sounded out of tune or was playing in a minor key. Sounds weird. Even I couldn't do hard in endless mode and get 99,999. I can only do that in Easy and Normal at around 10 minutes. I suck.
Ah the ever popular Tetris Attack hack. There actually is a way to do this, I did it before and and the results were generally the same. I'm not surprised someone desided to exploit it.

Yes, they did. There was also one for Gameboy(a PKMN puzzle League) then I believe there was a DS remake called Planet Puzzle League(not Pokemon)

It's okay to make tool assisted speedruns, as long as there's advice that it IS tool assisted.
