guy if you look back at the 2002 olympics with the whole controversial call thing with ohno you can see that he made a big deal out of sung "bumping" him during the race. to be honest it was bullshit because sung was in the lead and going his own course, ohno bumped into his REAR and stood up in protest as if the korean skater did something wrong. look, im a korean american but an american at heart, but it was a bullshit call and they totally fucked over that korean guy, he didnt do anything

@frankkalani One of the commentators mentioned that the refree could possibly DQ him ..that it was really their call but in his opinion it should be fine. I understand American commentators rooting for Ohno but it was a clear violation. Lee Jung Su in an inteview with Korean television said that Ohno really pushed him and that he doesn't deserve to be on the podium.
have you seen other short track matches? there are at least 5 occasions when two athletes touch or bump each other. Ohno knew he wasn't gonna get in front of Kim, so he threw his arms up like he was shoved.
I don't know anything about short track, but a lot about cycling. In road racing such a situation is very common, although the distances raced are considerably longer. It seems to me that due to the moment of suprise the others weren't able to follow immediately. Then they didn't get the pack organized for a chase, probably because the situation is uncommon and not often practised. Eventually it was too late to still catch him and they were just racing against each other. Is this analysis good?

guy if you look back at the 2002 olympics with the whole controversial call thing with ohno you can see that he made a big deal out of sung "bumping" him during the race. to be honest it was bullshit because sung was in the lead and going his own course, ohno bumped into his REAR and stood up in protest as if the korean skater did something wrong. look, im a korean american but an american at heart, but it was a bullshit call and they totally fucked over that korean guy, he didnt do anything

everyone that is saying apolo cheats or doesnt deservfer his 7 medals... im pretty sure he deserves every bit of it considering the trianing he has done to prepare for vancouver. Just to let you guys know i dont think a cheater or a faker has trained so vigorously that his daily work out consists of 4 2 hour work outs and 8 sets of 2 1000lb single leg reps while holding the weight halfway in between each rep..if you want to see dirty tactics watch the fucking south koreans

u really dont know much about short track. it's okay if it's not on a curve. and he didnt make his pass falling in the blue. He touched the blue area after his pass and it had nothing to do with cheating because it's all about time.. EVEN if he made an inappropriate move, it doesnt matter hhe would have won anyways. you dont think someone who won the race by almost 2 laps ahead of the 2nd place winner could have lost? wow

it's because they want to save their stamina for last laps and of course it's freaking hard to keep that kinda pace through 1500m whole race, but Kim dong sung he's especially god gifted in both skill and stamina power on everyparts of skating.. and one reason why he raised his pace so much from beginning, is that he wanna fk the ohno

I didn't know what a bad sportsman Ohno was until today (feb 13, 2010) I wasn't particularly on Kim Dong Sung's side...but 8years later I've realized what a cheater Ohno is. Poor Kim Dong Sung I am so sorry. Ohno should have been disqualified in semi finals today (1500m)

@frankkalani One of the commentators mentioned that the refree could possibly DQ him ..that it was really their call but in his opinion it should be fine. I understand American commentators rooting for Ohno but it was a clear violation. Lee Jung Su in an inteview with Korean television said that Ohno really pushed him and that he doesn't deserve to be on the podium.

have you seen other short track matches? there are at least 5 occasions when two athletes touch or bump each other. Ohno knew he wasn't gonna get in front of Kim, so he threw his arms up like he was shoved.

I don't know anything about short track, but a lot about cycling. In road racing such a situation is very common, although the distances raced are considerably longer. It seems to me that due to the moment of suprise the others weren't able to follow immediately. Then they didn't get the pack organized for a chase, probably because the situation is uncommon and not often practised. Eventually it was too late to still catch him and they were just racing against each other. Is this analysis good?
